The Sanctuary is nestled in the perfect location, secluded and serene, yet just minutes away from Boone & Blowing Rock!

Escape to this luxury cabin in the heart of Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Centrally located, just a 10 minute drive to downtown Blowing Rock, 5 minutes to Boone and ASU, 10 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain, 5 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad and minutes away from amazing Blue Ridge hikes.

The space
The cabin features a wood-burning fireplace, pool table, foosball, hot tub, fire pit, WiFi and Smart TVs with access to Netflix, Hulu and Prime TV.

The A-frame cabin architecture provides year-round stunning woodland views and partial mountain views in the winter. It also boasts an open living concept, perfect for gathering with family and friends along with space for everyone to spread out and enjoy privacy when they need it. Inside the cabin, you will feel completely relaxed and at ease. The kitchen comes stocked with all the supplies you need to make a delicious meal. Coffee is also provided to make your mornings more enjoyable.

The private master suite is located off the upstairs loft, featuring a cozy queen bed and a full master bath with dual vanities. The open loft area overlooks the great room with lots of natural light coming in from the wall of windows, offering a quaint office space and a sleeping/reading nook with a twin daybed.

The main level welcomes you to a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room with deck access, a full bathroom, laundry room and two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a queen bed, twin bunk and twin trundle while the second bedroom features a full bed.

The lower level features a game room with billiard and foosball tables, two twin log cabin beds, and a full bathroom. The perfect location in the cabin to enjoy game time with family and friends along with easy deck access to the fire pit and hot tub.

Curl up and read a good book by the fireplace, have a quiet moment on the rocking chair front porch, enjoy the views from one of the wrap around decks, relax in a hammock in the backyard, share stories and s'mores by the fire pit, warm up in the hot tub and wind down in the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We can guarantee you won’t want to leave.

Guest access
You will have the entire place to yourself. A special key code will unlock the door during your stay. Our spacious, level driveway allows for 3-4 cars with no stairs for easy entry access.

Other things to note
While the cabin is easily accessed from main and paved roads, winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. For your safety, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This requires 4-wheel drive, good tires and snow chains to accommodate potentially hazardous road conditions.

Great communication with the hosts! Beautiful house, lots of places for people to sleep. The decor is very cozy and cute. The basement with its cute little beds and pool table, was a big hit with my teenagers. Wonderful outdoor space with hot tub and patio with fire pit was absolutely perfect! I wish the outdoor solar lights that surround this space were working, but who can control the sun! The hosts even left a s’more goodie box that was a nice touch. The sanctuary was a great stay. It’s secluded but also about 5 minutes from multiple restaurants and stores and attractions. We had a blast playing pool downstairs and even made use out of the hot tub even though it was freezing!! We loved the house and definitely plan to stay here again.

Great Trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at “The Sanctuary”. The location was great! We were able to get to Grandfather Mountain, nearby skiing and tubing, downtown Blowing Rock, and Tweetsie Railroad very easily. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The house was fully equipped with everything you might need. The basement with game tables was a bonus for my children. I would recommend for sure!
