About this property

The big catch! - 3.5 acres - pets! - boats - fishing and crabbing!

The shack sleeps up to 9 guests across four bedrooms.
Three queen beds and one room with three king single beds, all proper beds with no bunks.

Perfect for families, a couple of families, or a group of mates chasing a fishing or crabbing getaway.

Inside is simple, comfortable, and easy, with a laid back coastal feel that makes you feel at home straight away.

You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen with coffee supplied, one bathroom, a large air conditioner in the main living area that cools the whole house, plus air conditioning in the bedrooms and fans throughout for extra comfort.

For downtime, there’s a massive 70 inch TV with DVDs, board games, and a kids’ play area.

All linen, bath towels, and beach towels are provided, so you can just bring your bags and settle in.

Dogs are welcome, maximum two.

There’s plenty of space for boats, trailers, and caravans.

Space to Unwind

Set on 3.5 acres, there’s plenty of room to spread out, whether you’re parking the boat, kicking a ball around, or just enjoying the peace and quiet.

The property backs onto the waterways of Rodds Bay, adding to that relaxed, tucked away feel.

The Hangout Spot

The enclosed sunroom is where you’ll likely spend most of your time.

It’s fully screened, which makes a big difference around here, and is set up with a bar area, table tennis, and space to sit, relax, and wind down after a day out.

It’s the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors without the mozzies.

Fishing & Crabbing

Turkey Beach is a bit of a hidden gem for those who know it.

Rodds Bay is well known for mud crabbing in the mangroves, along with mangrove jack, bream, flathead, and barramundi in season.

The boat ramp on Hancock Street is just five minutes away, making it easy to get out on the water.

There’s also a dedicated fish cleaning area and a chest freezer, so you can prep and store your catch after a big day.

Bring your rods, crab pots, and a good esky.

Nearby

Turkey Beach General Store has fuel, bait, groceries, takeaway drinks, and essentials.

Bororen Pub is about twenty minutes away for a cold beer and a proper pub meal.

Tannum Sands is around thirty five minutes for Coles, cafés, and anything else you might need.
