To most enjoy your stay do come prepared: Arthur's Pass Village is in the middle of Arthur's Pass National Park and is a but a small village with a very limited range of groceries and the few places to dine out do close earlier than in the cities.
We love and appreciate our small store up here, the "Arthur's Pass Cafe and Store", where the beautiful, cheeky and clever Alpine Parrot, the Kea, often visit, making this a great place for a coffee and more. However, for any home-made food that you may want during your stay, shopping before you head up here will be kinder to your budget and you will have a wide range of products to choose from.
