Generous, peaceful and made for spending time together, An Chroí Villa combines the scale and character of a traditional country home with the comforts of a well-equipped modern stay.

Inside, multiple living areas give everyone room to spread out, whether you are gathering together or looking for a quieter corner to relax. Large windows frame the surrounding countryside, while two gas fireplaces create warm, inviting spaces during the cooler months.

At the heart of the villa is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of room for preparing meals together. The adjoining living areas are fitted with Sonos, while the main lounge features a 65-inch Picture TV for relaxed evenings at home.

The primary bedroom is particularly generous, with a king bed, its own seating area and beautiful countryside views. The remaining bedrooms include a queen room and a twin room, with each bedroom prepared with hotel-quality linen. Heat pumps throughout the home and a heated bathroom floor add extra comfort year-round.

Outside is where the property really comes into its own. Spend time in the private hot tub overlooking the countryside, enjoy meals around the outdoor dining table or settle into one of several seating areas throughout the gardens. The expansive lawns are ideal for picnics, games or simply finding a quiet spot to relax, while the trampoline provides plenty of entertainment for children.

A walking track leads through the paddocks and down to the natural swimmable creek, with sheep grazing across the property along the way. It gives the villa a genuine rural New Zealand feel while still being within easy reach of Auckland.

• Saddlers Cottage is around 100 metres away and may be occupied during your stay. The two homes are positioned to feel private from one another, although cottage guests share access to the paddocks and creek
• The walking track to the paddocks and creek passes by Saddlers Cottage
• Both homes can also be booked together for a full-estate stay
• This is a rural property with sheep, waterways, ponds, rocks, uneven ground and steep or unfenced drops
• An outdoor shower is available for muddy feet
