About this property

Apartments 'Altes Tradenlehen' Nestled between mountains and alpine pastures.

In the middle of the beautiful mountain landscape of the Berchtesgaden Alps, our quiet guest house is located on the edge of the Berchtesgaden National Park in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee.
Already in the 19th Century, the old trade loan was home to vacationers from all over the world. Since 2011 we have been offering two fully furnished apartments in our new building. A separate external staircase leads to the Steinbock holiday apartment with a spacious, covered balcony. The apartment Mankei on the ground floor offers you its own covered terrace area.

For bicycles, skis or the like, use a separate lockable drying room. In winter we provide sledges and skis on request.

Outside, little explorers can use the playground. Our “Tradenalm”, surrounded by lush meadows, is just the right place for a cozy picnic, a hearty snack in the evening sun or simply for a good book. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Watzmann, Grünstein and other mountain ranges from here.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser sehr schönen Ferienwohnung. Fußläufig sind Königssee, Jennerbahn, das Freibad und auch ein kleiner Supermarkt zu erreichen. Ein wunderbares Fleckchen Erde mit sehr netten Gastgebern - danke für die schöne Zeit im Berchtesgadener Land!

Meli und Mathias sind tolle Gastgeber und jederzeit für Fragen & Anliegen ansprechbar. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung und in der Umgebung sehr wohl gefühlt - der hauseigene Kinderspielplatz war der Traum für unseren Sohn. :) Die Ausstattung und Beschreibung der Wohnung passt genau. Ein Backofen in der Küche hätte uns an manchen Tagen das Leben erleichtert. Wir kommen bestimmt gerne wieder! :)

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und viele schöne Ausflüge unternommen. Familie Schäfer ist super sympatisch und hilfsbereit. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in Schönau verbracht und kommen bestimmt mal wieder. Also nochmals vielen lieben Dank!

Helle und großzügige Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir fanden alles in einem sauberen und gepflegten Zustand vor. Der großzügige Aufenthaltsbereich mit Essecke, Küchenzeile und Treppe zur Galerie bietet viel Platz - auf der Galerie kann man es ich in der Sitzecke mit bequemer Couch gemütlich machen. Die Betten/Matrazen sind sehr gut, das Badezimmer ist geräumig und die ebenerdige Dusche ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Das Haus liegt ruhig und hat einen großen Garten und zur Ferienwohnung gehört ein wunderbarer Balkon (den wir leider im Winter nicht nutzen konnten). Direkt vom Haus aus sind schöne Spaziergänge nach Berchtesgaden und Königsee möglich oder auf die Höhen Richtung Jenner. Zum Bäcker im Ort ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß, aber auch Brötchenservice ist möglich. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und eine wunderschöne Weihnachtszeit in Schönau verbracht. Vielen Dank :)

Spacious, clean, comfortable, great location

The apartment is very spacious, can easily fit six people. Located a couple of minutes away from Koenigsee by car, but not on the road, so you don't get any noise there. It's very clean and cosy, everything you need is there, except for the washing machine, but that is rarely included. You can park your car right outside. The owners live in the apartment downstairs and are very friendly. This was our first stay in an apartment instead of a hotel and we recommend it!
