Family Vacation

We are a family of 5 who stayed here. Anne-Laure is a wonderful host. The place is just as pictured and the town is absolutely beautiful and charming a small distance from Paris. Easy access via train or car. The palace of Versailles is only 20 minutes away and the town also has its little jewels.

We were hospitably received in this beautiful apartment. We did not lack anything. Beautiful, spacious and clean apartment. Everything neatly taken care of. Easily accessible and free parking around the corner. Also a bakery and supermarket within walking distance. We were here for 3 days with 2 adults and a child of almost 4.

Very charming and well-equipped apartment with a true washer and dryer! (Hard to find a real dryer in European rentals, many say they have a dryer but really it’s just an extra spin cycle on the washing machine.) Host is lovely and a great communicator. Enough equipment to cook a meal but also very cute street with many restaurants, including a Michelin-starred one right next door!

Paris without staying in Paris

Great place to get away from Paris and still have the option to be there in :30. It's quite the walk from the train station and UPHILL. Take an Uber / Taxi with or without luggage. It's also on a major crossroad, so this place is not quiet and quaint until 10p. Major construction next door which added to the ambiance of the traffic. I got banned from the crepe place for asking for takeaway. Uber Eats can greatly expand your dining and grocery options. Zero breakfast options on Grand Rue. Don't pass up Marly Parc. Versailles - Taking an Uber was easier than the bus, which is way down the hill, again. Host was awesome. Place was as advertised.

Cute, updated apartment in small town

This apartment was very clean and well appointed for its size. The host was very helpful with all information and check-in was easy. She actually met us at the train station to take our luggage up the hill and in the apartment. This was much appreciated! The walk was about 10 min, but all up hill. So, it was very helpful to have her take it up for us. Coming down the hill with luggage was not bad. The apartment, though able to sleep 6, was very tight for 6 people. The beds in the bedroom (2 twin, and 1 queen) were very comfortable. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, thin, and could feel the support boards underneath. When the trains are running/working, getting back and forth to Paris can take about an hour depending on where you want to go. We did not mind the train time and enjoyed the view. The town is cute with a few cafes and restaurants. Since we wanted to spend a lot of time in Paris, I am not sure I would stay this far out again. One night, when the trains stopped working, we had to Uber back which cost almost $100. Uber to airport (CDG) from apartment was $140.

Effectivement, ce jour-là il faisait très chaud et j'ai préféré venir vous accueillir directement à la gare pour récupérer vos bagages et vous permettre d'arriver tranquillement dans l'appartement. J'ai alors pu constater que vous aviez beaucoup de bagages. J'ai eu moi-même du mal à les décharger de la voiture et à les regrouper dans une seule pièce! C'est la raison pour laquelle vous vous êtes sentis à l'étroit dans le gîte. L'appartement fait exactement le nombre de mètres carrés indiqué sur mon annonce c'est-à-dire 65 m². Si vous souhaitez des logements plus spacieux, je vous invite à bien lire les annonces des hôtes. Je suis désolée que vous n'ayez pas apprécié le canapé-lit que j'ai acheté justement pour l'épaisseur du matelas que je trouvais confortable. C'est la première fois que l'on me fait cette remarque dont je vais tenir compte pour améliorer le confort du canapé-lit. Malheureusement, il y a eu des grèves dans les transports en commun pendant votre séjour. C'est la raison pour laquelle vous avez été obligé de prendre un Uber pour rentrer à l'appartement. Ceci arrive très rarement et j'en suis désolée. Sachez que l'aéroport de Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) est très bien desservi par les transports en commun et il n'est pas nécessaire de prendre un taxi ou un Uber sauf pour plus de confort. Je vous remercie une nouvelle fois pour votre séjour chez moi et l'état de propreté dans lequel vous avez rendu l'appartement. Bonne continuation Anne-Laure

Beautiful town and convenient for Paris and Versailles

The apartment is lovely. Well thought out and incredibly clean. The bedroom is a quiet oasis and I would agree with other reviewers on what an absolute bonus the washing machine and tumble drier are. The owner is lovely and was kind enough to allow us to check in early on the first day which fitted better with our crossing from the UK. We visited Paris and Versailles easily. We drove to Versailles which was no more hassle than popping to the shops. After a long day in Paris we actually took a cab home which was €40 which at the end of a 12 hour day felt like money well spent but shows how relatively close it is. The only issue I can say we had was that the parking isn't on site. It's in a public car park at the end of the street. There are mostly parking spaces available in it and it seemed very safe but if we had known it wasn't actually next to the apartment we would have packed very differently. With a dog and a child, we tend to do lots of chucking bits and bobs into bags and throwing them in the boot and given that our next stop did have parking next to the house, there were pool floats and pumps and all sorts loose in there... So overall, amazing little place. Highly recommend - but the parking isn't "on site" so bear that in mind when you're loading your car.

L’appartement est très bien situé, tout près de la forêt de Marly, et en direct vers Paris, tout en étant au calme et près des restaurants.Très belle décoration typiquement française , et il n’y manque rien ! Literie très confortable. Anne-Laure nous as donné d’excellents conseils.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung in schöner Umgebung

Die Wohnung ist wirklich sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Check-in und Check-out verliefen problemlos. Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind im Umkreis vorhanden. Wenige Gehminuten zum Bahnhof, von dem man problemlos ins Zentrum von Paris fahren kann ( ca30Min). Viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung. Bäckerei und Supermarkt nicht weit entfernt. Das gleiche gilt für Spaziermöglichkeiten wie beispielsweise Parks. Versailles ist auch leicht zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine rundum gelungene Woche in Marly le Roi.

Tolle Unterkunft als Ausgangspunkt für Paris und Versailles!

Diese Wohnung liegt wunderschön in einem kleinen Ort, von dem aus man mit der Bahn problemlos nach Paris und auch nach Versailles gelangen kann. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und in einer netten Wohngegend gelegen. Ideal für Fahrten nach Paris, wenn man nicht direkt im Zentrum wohnen möchte. Die Vermietern war zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Tolle Wohnung in Marie le roi

Toller Familienurlaub in der Nähe von Paris. Wir haben eine Unterkunft für eine Familie mit Hund gesucht und alle unseren Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in der sehr liebevollen Wohnung in Marie le roi verbracht in der wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. In rund 30 Minuten konnte man Paris per Schnellbahn erreichen. Viele kleine Lokale direkt in der Nachbarschaft runden den Aufenthalt ab! Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin Anne-Laure!!

Wunderschöne Wohnung in sehr guter Lage

Wir - zwei Erwachsene und ein kleiner Hund - haben eine tolle Woche in dieser wunderschön eingerichteten Wohnung verbracht. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet: Ausreichend Geschirr und Gläser. Sogar Kaffee, Tee, Salz, Zucker, alles war vorhanden. Betten sind sehr bequem. Badezimmer ist sauber und modern. Die Lage ist toll. Direkt im Zentrum des historischen Teils vom Marly-le-Roi. Diverse Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, sprich direkt um die Ecke. Der Bahnhof ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Bahn bringt einen in ca. 20 Minuten nach Paris/La Defense. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, kann den Wagen in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung abstellen. Mit dem Auto sind es ca. 50 Minuten bis ins Zentrum von Paris. In der Umgebung zur Wohnung befindet sich der wunderschöne Park - Parc Royal de Marly-le-Roi. Hunde sind erlaubt-Leinenpflicht. Versaille ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Anne-Laure war fantastisch. Jede Frage wurde schnell beantwortet. Der Check-In war absolut problemlos. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft und werden bestimmt noch einmal buchen. Nous - deux adultes et un petit chien - avons passé une semaine formidable dans cet appartement magnifiquement aménagé. L'aménagement est de très bon goût. Il ne manque rien. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée : Suffisamment de vaisselle et de verres. Même le café, le thé, le sel, le sucre, tout était disponible. Les lits son

Schönes Apartment!

Es war alles super! Wir haben uns gut betreut gefühlt. Das Apartement war sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin Anne-Laure war immer erreichbar und hat uns Tips für umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Paris ist mit der Metro in einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Es war ein schöner Urlaub!
