Discover amazing Normandy while enjoying our charming house in Cormeilles village, Pays d'Auge. Half-hour drive to Honfleur and Deauville, one hour to Etretat and World War II beaches, less than two hours away from Paris.

Cormeilles is classified "village of character". It is also known for its local products: calvados Busnel and macarons Dufay. There are 14 marked hiking trails throughout the surrounding forests.

At only 5 min walk from the picturesque centre of Cormeilles, the house and its yard are surrounded by old chestnut trees. The garden has 2.000 m².

Traditional Norman house in a quiet area

We had a very enjoyable stay in this traditional Norman house in a quiet area near the pleasant village of Cormeilles. Close to nature and local attractions such as Honfleur and Deauville, it'salso possible to walk down into Cormeilles for local amenities, at least for those fit enough for walk back uphill!

Lovely Normandy property

A clean and cosy, family property perfectly positioned for travelling around beautiful Normandy. Catalina was an excellent host and explained everything in detail. An enjoyable time was had by myself, my husband and our dogs.

Lovely and well equipped house in beautiful surrounding

We had a great stay in this well equipped house located in a very nice part of Normandy. The house was very well equipped and the owner was a very welcoming and a helpful and engaged host. The house is at the edge of a nice village with all the necessary amenities. On top of a hill slightly above the village, it is also very quiet and peacefull. Lots of interesting things to see in the area, which is also very beautiful.

Beautiful House in Lovely Relaxing Location

We were welcomed by Catalin on arrival and shown around the beautiful property. Nothing was too much trouble to explain and Catalin was very thorough and helpful highlighting places to visit. The house was spotless and has all the amenities a family would need. The location was very relaxing and we enjoyed walks to the village and around the local area. The location is also perfect for day trips to the coast / beach - we visited Trouville, Cabourg and Merville-Franceville which were all lovely. Paris is also only a 2 hour drive and we took our daughters to Disneyland for a couple of days. Other activities incudes tree climbing (similar to go ape) at Domaine de Beauregard and a trip to the races at Clairefontaine. All in all a fantastic holiday with plenty to do and a lovely property to return to and relax after a busy day. Thanks again Catalin we will be back.

Aardige host die de tijd neemt en attent is. Mooie omgeving met veel bezienswaardigheden. In het dorp zelf enkele leuke restaurants. Het huisje en de tuin zijn mooi goed en goed onderhouden.

Het huis is ruim, goed ingericht en schoon. Mooie televisie met goed surround systeem. Goed werkende wifi. De tuin is ruim en je kunt mirabellen plukken en appels voor appelmoes. Cormeilles is een heel leuk plaatsje op loopafstand met een paaf leuke restaurantjes. In de omgeving zijn mooie wandelroutes. Kortom een prima huis in een leuke omgeving.

Ici tout est simple et facile : l’arrivée , le départ et rejoindre le village à pieds ( un peu sportif ) Tout est beau ; le parc et la campagne !Le wifi fonctionne très bien pour le télétravail .La cuisine et les ustensiles sont parfaits pour une cuisine classique. .Je souhaite à tout le monde de passer de très jolies vacances, aussi belles que celles que nous avons eues .

Schöner Garten mit vielen Bäumen

Großes Haus, gepflegter Garten, netter Gastgeber, der alles geklärt hat. Leider keine Möglichkeit, Kleider aufzuhängen, sprich keine Kleiderstange, sonst alles Notwendige vorhanden. Wie bei FeWo angegeben, angeblicher „Whirlpool“, war lediglich die Firma der Elektrogeräte, aber leider kein Whirlpool. Ansonsten toller Ort mit viel Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Très agréable maison au calme

Maison spacieuse et confortable, et un très grand jardin dans un village très agréable avec toutes les commodités. Pas mal de choses à visiter à une demi-heure de route et de quoi s’occuper en famille sur place : jeux, tir à l’arc, baby-foot, fléchettes… nous avons apprécié notre séjour en Normandie! Relaxing in Normandy

Loved going for walks in this quiet country community or to the lively village that even has a weekly farmer’s market. The modern home and large grounds have plenty of space to relax and are not to far from the sites we wanted to visit in Calvados Normandy. The village is friendly. Catalin responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay.

Cormeilles

A very comfortable house to stay in - we like the open plan downstairs and it feels spacious. Very well equipped and Catalin is a very welcoming and helpful host. Great garden with hammock and room for badminton etc plus trees give shade for sitting outside. Great location for trips to lake and beaches. We had a lovely holiday and look forward to returning again.

Entspannter Landurlaub in der Normandie

Sehr schönes, typisch normannisches Landhaus. Zeitgemäß eingerichtet, ruhige Lage, aber dennoch zentral gelegen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, fünf Minuten zu dem Supermarkt, den Bäckereien und den Bistros beziehungsweise Restaurants. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für kurze Urlaubsausflüge, etwa an das Meer (Deauville) oder andere Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Vermieter steht bei Bedarf zur Verfügung und kümmert sich sehr aufmerksam. Zu empfehlen.

Havre de paix au sein de la campagne normande

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette jolie maison nichée sur les monts du Bourg. Le très grand jardin nous a permis de profiter de la nature et de nous reposer au calme. Le village de Cormeilles en contre-bas est facilement accessible et dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires. Il est d’ailleurs facile de visiter toute la région car nous sommes proches de tout. La maison est magnifique, super équipée et parfaitement propre ! Le propriétaire, nous a accueilli chaleureusement et nous a très bien conseillé sur les endroits à visiter aux alentours. De nombreuses et belles promenades sont également accessibles depuis la maison. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Un très bon séjour dans un logement très bien équipé avec un bel extérieur. La propriété est très bien situé à 30 minutes de Deauville, d'honfleur. Petit supermarché dans le village.

Un havre de paix pour se ressourcer avec néanmoins un accès aux plages de Deauville ou Honfleur à tout juste 30 minutes. Très bon accueil du propriétaire

Séjour très agréable

Sympathique maison fonctionnelle, agréable à vivre et confortable. Le jardin est superbe, l'environnement est calme sans être isolé. Le propriétaire est charmant et très arrangeant sur les horaires. La jolie ville de Cormeilles est à 800 m (attention, c'est pentu !) et il y a tous les commerces de première nécessité et même plus. Et en plus, c'est bon ! (Nous recommandons les très bonnes pizzas de chez Capri). Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Trés bonne location

Maison entière à disposition - spacieuse confortable, bien équipée, environnement trés agréable - balades juste derrière la maison et proximité du centre de Cormeilles bien animé (commerces, restos..). Honfleur/Deauville pas loin en voiture - Propriétaire accueillant et à l'écoute.

Vacances dans le pays d'Auge

Nous avons apprécié la belle campagne ainsi que la mer qui n'est pas loin. La propriété est très confortable. Il y a aussi de nombreuses activités (vélos, tir à l'arc, badminton et de nombreux jeux de société)

At only 5 min walk from the picturesque village's centre, the house is surrounded by a lovely quiet yard and old chestnut trees.
The charm of the authentic wood and stone is present everywhere and modern furniture and equipment made the house comfortable and restful.
Ideal for work from home : high speed internet !
Motocross bike and / or quad available (extra cost on demand).

What makes this property unique

In the village center: restaurants, cozy cafés, French boulangeries, retail therapy, pharmacy, local products boutiques and antique stores.
Guided visit of the village is available at the tourist office. There are 14 marked hiking trails throughout the surrounding forests. If you are lucky you will see wild deer and doe.
Activities available offsite the property: Hiking around the property on Biodiversity Path!
Cycling - renting possible by the tourist office in village center.
Canoeing on river La Risle and/or La Manche sea.
Horse riding is particularly popular here. Tennis courts can be rented around, the most popular are those in Trouville-sur-Mer. Windsurf and sailing all over the Côté Fleury.
