Welcome to the Garlands Getaways Sandy Seahorse condo, located in 30A along the stunning Emerald Coast.

Positioned in Santa Rosa Beach (about 3.5 miles from Seaside) Garlands Getaways Sandy Seahorse is a compact but cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground floor condo just a 3-leisurely-minute stroll along flat ground to the amazing white sand beach and perfect for a single family or small group of friends. It features a living room with Smart TV that is as comfortable as it is refreshing and a kitchen that is well-equipped to serve up any meals for your group, and seating for 7.

The master bedroom offers a queen bed. The guest room features a comfy queen bed and a trundle bed. Both bedrooms have smart TVs. Each bathroom offers a shower/tub combo. The sofa in the living room is a sleeper.

A washer/dryer and high speed fiber internet is available for your use.

We have a covered patio for dining al fresco or simply soaking up the Gulf Coast warmth. Resort grills are available for your use, and a small, grassy area just outside our villa offers space for little ones to burn off energy while staying in sight.

We do welcome furry friends (maximum of two dogs) with a non-refundable, nominal pet fee. NOTE: Walton County does not allow visitors' dogs on any of its beaches. A dog beach is located about 20 min away in PCB, and there is a dog park nearby as well (not on the beach).

The Resort offers one regular and one seasonally heated pool in very close proximity to our villa--one of which is just across from the front corner of our building, about 30 steps away. There are also tennis courts and a shuttleboard/cornhole court available. And we are just steps away from the white sand beaches of 30A.

Primary renter must be at least 25 years old, sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking, be present for the duration of the stay, and agree to a $300 damage deposit hold (not a charge) placed on the guest's credit card prior to arrival that will be released after his/her uneventful stay. No smoking or parties allowed. We provide starter amounts of soaps and paper products (like tp, paper towels, and trash bags). Please plan to bring/buy additional if your stay is longer than a couple of days.

BEFORE YOU BOOK - IMPORTANT NOTES:

We have specific BEACH AREAS our guests may use. Due to the private beach allocations in Walton County, our area of beach is a .2 mile, flat, easy walk (about 3-4 minutes) down a neighborhood street to the west or walk east or west down the beach itself to either beach access. You can play in the water or in the wet sand anywhere. The resort also offers free tram service from the complex to these areas during high season (mid March to mid September).

Condo accommodates 6 people…we had 5 and it was a tight fit. Megan was great to work with and it was nice to be able to bring our small dog with us.

We had such a great stay here! I highly recommend it. The condo was really clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Its only a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and shops are a quick drive to reach.

Great stay!!

The listing was accurate and showed where everything is and the pictures gave a good feel for the unit. Communication ahead of time was clear and easy to follow and made check in and out very easy. It is not right by the beach but was a great first floor unit that made walking our small dogs easy and we enjoyed the pretty little lake across the parking lot. The beach was just a short walk and the provided beach chairs that you could carry like a back pack made it easy to spend time at the beach. We had a great stay!!

Great vacation spot

My family really enjoyed staying here. This place is located in a beautiful area with great access to all the local places to visit. Unit is well stocked with all the necessities. Description and photos are very accurate. The unit is not very big but plenty of space for our family of 4. Hosts were super responsive with any questions we had. We loved that it was a first floor unit. Walk to the beach was quick and the beach is absolutely beautiful. My only issue with the unit would be that the bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable but doable. We will definitely keep it at the top of our list for future stays in the area. An uncozy flat in a great location

Great location but everything else about the flat was an oversell. The flat isn't big enough for 6 people and it definitely wasn't bright and airy. The flat was also not very clean and it felt claustrophobic because of the furnishings. Lastly, the bed was "lumpy" and uninviting. The public beach access is small and gets crowded quickly. It was unfortunate about the private beach space that wasnt accessible to us. The property manager was responsive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay nit because of the flat but because of what we got to do and experience.

Great Location and Responsive Host, But Property Needs Some Improvements

The location of this property is excellent—close to town, shops, and restaurants, with nearby beach access. While the closest entry is to a private beach (as mentioned in the listing), the complex offers a trolley to public beach areas, which was convenient.The beds were comfortable and the host was responsive, which we appreciated. The unit was generally clean at a glance, but there was noticeable dust on ceilings, vents, and light fixtures, and the vent ducts looked moldy.The kitchen was a major drawback for us. Utensils and cookware were in poor condition—many were dirty or unusable, and we had to purchase a chef’s knife. There was no cabinet or pantry space for groceries, so food ended up on the dining table.Other issues included a clogged and leaking bathroom sink, a non-functioning guest bedroom TV, slow internet, and limited seating in the living room. One of the couches was noticeably stained. We also found a dead insect and a live insect in a pot under the cabinet with the kitchen equipment. The community pools were much smaller than expected and very crowded, so we opted not to use them at all. With updates to cleanliness, maintenance, and kitchen essentials, this property could be much more enjoyable. The location and host responsiveness are strong positives, but the overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations.

A perfect beach stay

We had such a great stay. The unit was everything we wanted and the location was even better than expected. The unit is very nice and exactly what we needed. There's a living area, kitchen, small eating area, two bedrooms that are rather spacious and two bathrooms. The unit also has a washer, dryer and a small patio. The unit had all of the basic things you need for a stay. We were very pleased!There is a beach shuttle that will drive you the short walk to the beach if you need it. This is helpful if you have very young children and a bunch of stuff to carry but even for a young child the beach is walking distance. We spent a ton of time at the beach and the kids enjoyed the water (Mar/Apr). The neighborhood is very walkable and our dogs had plenty of space out and about to stretch their legs. On site there are two pools, tennis courts, bikes for rent, etc. Everything you need. Minutes from the complex are various places to shop, pick up odds and ends that you might need for your stay, plenty of restaurants, etc.The property owner was fantastic. She was very easy to reach before and during our stay and was excellent about communicating with us. There are materials in the unit posted to let you know about amenities, expectations for check out, etc. We initially had an issue with the company we rented bikes and a golf cart from and she was super helpful clarifying the rules (turns out it was not an issue after all). Highly recommend!!

Small, Dated and towels with stains

The place was dated. I drove in at midnight and had to search for my condo for 15 plus minutes because the instructions said my building was number 11. I finally realized my building was number 10 because my condo number started with a 10. I walked through the door and the place didn't smell very fresh and was much, much smaller than the pictures online. Towels were stained. The location was really great and so was the shuttle to and from the beach.

Wonderful quaint apartment close to the beach

We had a blast staying here! The apartment is a little small but very adequate for our family of three with dog. The location is great and the place itself was clean, cute, and comfortable. Would recommend highly!

Our tight-knit family of 6 (+1 furry family member) lives in NE Atlanta and includes kids that range from high school to college plus two fun-loving parents who believe life by the water makes life in general better.

Why they chose this property

We love the 30A area for it's lack of hustle and bustle, leisurely bike-riding atmosphere, gorgeous white sand and emerald water. With an abundance of houses for larger groups, we wanted to have a condo that would also allow individual families or small groups to enjoy this amazing area. Beachside Villas offers precisely that. It's ideally located and the perfect size for up to 6 folks.

What makes this property unique

Ground floor location offers quick, easy, seamless access without waiting on elevators or lugging your gear very far! We're just a 3-minute stroll to the white sands of the Gulf Coast. The resort even offers grills for guest use -- if you can tear yourself away from one of the many phenomenal restaurants in the area.
