A beautiful secluded area that is peaceful and quiet. Truly a log cabin experience without all the modern day distractions. Cabin was clean and tidy and beds were comfy. Kids had a blast playing hide and seek around the property. My only complaints about our stay, which truly weren’t a huge deal were hot water ran out quickly, so we had to wait for water to warm between showers and not many cleaning supplies available for cleanup during stay/prior to checking out.
Loved our time here! The cabin was just as described. pricepoint and amenities were on-point & the property manager was very helpful. Looking forward to our next stay!

Since I was little, my family and I always stayed here and always loved it. It has always been very comforting and quiet. This time around we enjoyed it as well but the only down side this time around is that they seemed a little more run down. They were a little dusty, spider webs inside and outside. Dishes were dirty but nothing major to keep us away.
What a wonderful place to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday! Communication was great, Mrs. B was so kind and easy to work with. We needed to change the types of beds that we had originally scheduled and she gladly helped us out. It was clean and comfortable and easy to find!! We will definitely stay at these cabins again on our next trip to Alpine!!
My wife and I loved our long weekend in Alpine. The cabins are new, so they are clean, neat, and nicely decorated. The cabins are oriented so each one is quiet and private from the others, and the property is set in a hollow so it's secluded and quiet. Several times during our stay we saw a herd of elk that resides on the ridge above the cabins. There are ample options for hiking, fishing, leaf-peeping, and scenic drives nearby, and you can get to Springerville for groceries or restaurants in 30 minutes by highway. Highly recommended.

Location is great and the cabin is charming but there were issues. The owner waited until the night before to send us the access code which didn't allow for communication issues. She was inadvertently out of cell range and we never got the code. The morning of our trip we contacted VRBO twice trying to get the code. VRBO couldn't reach the owner for a couple of hours. We drove up as far as Payson and waited, not knowing whether we would have our trip or not. Codes can be planned for in advance and sent prior to the night before in order to avoid issues.
HINTS: Bring your own blanket. It gets down to 40 at night and none were provided. Bring your own pillows. Those provided were old misshapen slabs of foam and very uncomfortable. Bring your own hangers. Closet with no hangers. Bring your own salt and pepper if you're grilling. Guests from other cabins were asking other guests if they had any.
Mrs. B was great to communicate with, very helpful and quick to respond. The cabin was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family's weekend getaway. Can't wait to stay here again.

Authentic Cabin Living
We had a very relaxing 4 day stay. The area was quiet and the atmosphere perfect. Definitely would stay again.
I came up to relax and rejuvenate from work and life.
This was a perfect place to do so. Nestled in a bit away from the main road there wasn't much noise or even people. There was a nice little wooded area that one could walk in and get a bit of nature.
The cabin itself was wonderful and the porch gave a good opportunity to read, eat, or look at nature (I got to see squirrels, lots of different birds, and even two deer).
The check-in and out was easy and Sherrie was pretty quick on responding to any questions I had.
I really enjoyed my time here and it is definitely on my list to come back to.
Thanks for a wonderful time!
I was not happy with the extra owners fee and cleaning fee that were not up front with regards to pricing but I would like to take a large group of family members and rent more cabins in the future
