Directly behind the dunes in 'Villaparc Duynopgangh' is the family-friendly holiday villa with a thatched roof. The spacious garden plot is completely fenced and has a separate seating area for comfortable hours right on the water. Two sun terraces with garden furniture, deck chairs and electric awning offer holiday flair directly at the house.

On the ground floor, a spacious and cozy living room with fireplace, dining area and open kitchen invites you to feel good. The new kitchen has a fridge and a multi-function unit with a microwave, oven and grill. Next to the guest toilet is a utility room with washing machine, dryer and freezer.

Nearby you will find a subtropical swimming paradise with sauna, whirlpool, solarium and play area for children, as well as golf, mini golf, tennis courts, a bowling center, canoe rental, bike and inline skater rental and various restaurants.
In the vicinity there are extensive cycling and hiking trails through dunes, flower fields and nature reserves.
The clean, wide sandy beach invites you to swim and play.
Excursions to the surrounding area lead you to many small typical old Dutch villages and the pretty towns of Alkmaar and Schagen as well as the island of Texel.
Alkmaar
Alkmaar is the Dutch cheese town that has a world famous cheese market. Between the beginning of April and September, every Friday from 10:00 to 12:00, the cheese market takes place on the square "Waagplein". Cheese makers then carry the cheese from the square to the "Waaghaus", which also houses the Dutch cheese museum. But Alkmaar has much more to offer than just the cheese market. The city is one of the best shopping cities in the Netherlands. Walking past the numerous monuments, you will be fascinated by the beauty of the old center. The range of shops is varied. Window shopping is a real pleasure because many remarkable shops are located in the historic houses of the small streets. On the many terraces and in the numerous restaurants, a delicious menu is served. The offer ranges from Japanese to French and from simple pubs to luxurious restaurants. Let yourself be seduced to a city tour. When VVV in Libra you get the city map with recommended route. Enjoy a 90 minute tour to the most beautiful places. For children, there is a captivating treasure hunt through the city. What you should not miss in Alkmaar is a canal cruise. It starts in the summer months from 11:00 clock every hour on "De Mient" and takes about 45 minutes. The departure point is very close to the scale.
Schagen
In the geographical center of the North of North Holland is the small and cozy town of Schagen. The old town of Schagen is known worldwide through the "West Frisian Market". Every summer a special spectacle for tourists takes place in Schagen on Thursdays, the "West Frisian Market Days". Every Thursday around 10:00 o'clock a lot of voluntary "Schagenezen" are formed under the sound of a peasant chapel in historical costumes and with antique horse-drawn carriages and carriages for a parade through the whole city. At the marketplace in the shadow of the large church begins at 11.30 clock a folkloric dance performance with children's dance groups and the adult, well beyond Schagen well-known 'West Frisian folklore dance group'. All this, of course, accompanied by live music.
Museum Vreeburg
The museum is housed in a faithfully restored 17C farm. Century and gives an impression of the life of the North Dutch peasant families and their farms in the past. The facility was completely assembled and set up by volunteers from the area. You get an unimaginable variety of old objects that remind you of this past. On the ground floor are fully furnished rooms with authentic furniture and utensils to visit. In the stables and on the threshing floor you can admire old tools. Other themes are typical north Dutch costumes as well as old toys.
