Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The biggest strengths of this cabin are its location, size, and cleanliness. We stayed with six people (4 adults, 2 young kids), and it fit us comfortably. The location is fantastic—you can walk to downtown Estes Park in about five minutes. The walk back is up a steep hill, so those with mobility concerns may prefer to drive. There is free parking nearby. If you're looking for a modern, updated rental, this probably isn't it. The cabin is dated, as previous reviews mention, but it has a classic Colorado cabin feel. The bathrooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking several meals. Families with young kids should know the top bunk doesn't have a safety rail. There is no air conditioning, which seems typical for Estes Park rentals. The owners provided plenty of fans, so it wasn't a major issue, but the cabin did get warm from about 3–9 p.m., especially if we were using the oven. The only downside was the worn living room furniture, which could use updating. Overall, the cabin was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and in an outstanding location. If you value location and convenience over modern finishes, I'd definitely recommend staying here.
