Big fan of this place! The hosts were extremely accessible via the Vrbo app, and everything was as described! It did take me a minute to get the lock on the front door, but that was more user error than anything :) Would recommend!

Aunt Vid’s cottage was so welcoming inside & out!, beginning with the front porch with flower pots & furniture to relax, Entering the cottage takes one back triggering sweet memories of our childhood with the furniture, photos, bookcases, including a record player and the 33 &1/3 albums!! The kitchen was quite small but still had the essentials to have simple meals! Who wants to cook big meals while on vacation?? The bedrooms were comfortable with a small shared closet, and a very small bathroom. The outside shower was very useful! The back porch was inviting. The location of the cottage was easy to locate and far enough away from the busy traffic & activities of the OBX towns on the coast to relax and revive! We could have used a small step stool to reach the dryer and a couple of cupboards, but managed! Bug spray was also necessary for the time of year we visited. We loved our stay on our “sister’s” trip and will have fond memories to share with each other in the future!

Charming cottage near everything

Enjoyed staying in this cute cottage while going out and exploring sites nearby. Very clean, family loved the record player, fresh flowers in each room, extra beach towels were helpful too!

A perfect get away

This was the sweetest, coziest, and happiest little cottage to stay in. The property is well maintained. It has everything you need for a nice get away. It's a great jumping off point, Kitty Hawk museum, the lighthouse, the ocean, and local eateries.

First Visit to Outer Banks

This cozy cottage was a good central location for visiting many Outer Banks sites. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and deck during our stay. The house had lots of nice touches, even a guitar and turntable.

Wonderful spot with tons of charm

We loved our stay in the cottage. It is wonderfully decorated and includes many nice touches that make it fun to explore and spend time in. Communications with the host were very easy. We would certainly return if we plan another trip to the area!

If you are looking for a welcoming, clean, well cared for, out of the way, peaceful cottage filled with a loving spirit and memories of a life well lived this is the place.
