Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, family vacation, girls' weekend, outdoor adventure, or simply need a place to recharge, you'll find a warm welcome and an unforgettable experience waiting for you.
Fresh homemade bread is often waiting to welcome our guests (when available), adding a special touch that has become one of our favorite traditions.
Your Home Away From Home
Our spacious 1,100-square-foot guest house is located next to the main residence while offering privacy, comfort, and beautiful views of the ranch. It comfortably accommodates up to seven guests and includes:
• Two luxurious queen beds in the primary bedroom
• Office with a twin sleeper chair
• Living room with a queen sleeper sofa
• Kitchenette for preparing breakfast, snacks, or light meals
• Private carport (please check your vehicle height if you have rooftop cargo or accessories)
• Complimentary Wi-Fi
• Peaceful patios overlooking the pond and surrounding pastures
Spend your evenings relaxing on the patio as the sun sets over the ranch. If you're lucky, you may spot the resident elk herd grazing in the pasture while listening to the sounds of the countryside.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the large patio and BBQ behind the main house.
Experience Life on a Working Sheep Ranch
Langel Creek Ranch is much more than a vacation rental—it's an opportunity to experience authentic ranch life.
Meet our friendly Bluefaced Leicester sheep, known for producing some of the softest wool in the world. Depending on the season and what's happening around the ranch, guests are often welcome to visit the sheep and learn about raising them, wool production, and life on a working farm.
Stroll through our ever-growing flower gardens where something is always blooming, from favorite classics to unusual varieties. During the growing season, you may even be invited to harvest fresh vegetables from the garden to enjoy with dinner.
Every season brings something different—from spring lambs and summer gardens to colorful fall landscapes and cozy winter mornings.
Visit the Wool Shop
One of the highlights of staying at Langel Creek Ranch is browsing our on-site Wool Shop, open exclusively for our guests and visitors.
Discover:
• Farm-grown Bluefaced Leicester wool
• Hand-dyed fibers and yarn
• Needle felting kits and supplies
• Handmade gifts
• Original fiber artwork
• One-of-a-kind treasures you won't find anywhere else
Every purchase supports our family ranch and the sheep that make it all possible.
Create Something Special
Looking for an experience you'll remember long after your vacation ends?
Private needle felting classes with Karen are available by advance reservation and are one of our guests' favorite experiences.
Karen is an award-winning fiber artist, instructor, shepherdess, and creator behind Liongate Farm. Whether you've never picked up a felting needle or you're an experienced fiber artist, she'll guide you through creating your own handmade keepsake while sharing the fascinating journey from sheep to finished wool.
End the Day Around the Fire
Reserve our optional fire pit experience and spend the evening under Southern Oregon's spectacular night sky. Your package includes cozy blankets and everything you need for delicious s'mores while you relax around the fire.

Authentic Ranch Life

You'll hear sheep baaing, livestock guardian dogs protecting the flock, tractors, ranch equipment, and the everyday sounds of country life. Summer mornings may begin around 6:00 a.m., and during lambing season ranch activities can happen at any hour. If you're looking for an authentic farm experience, you'll love being part of daily ranch life.

What a beautiful, tranquil place to rest after a long day of travel. The house felt like a home away from home, the gardens were glorious, and Stewie the cat was a wonderful (outside) host. Everything was very clearly laid out, information was easy to find. Karen, the host, always replied immediately to any messages I sent. I wish we could've stayed so much longer!
A wonderful weekend stay for a girlfriends craft weekend..the host Karen and Jon make sure you have everything you need..the property is gorgeous with blooming flowers everywhere. The guest cottage was equipped with everything we could possibly need...and a fresh loaf of sourdough bread waiting on our arrival, made by Karen.
We had a great time during our stay here. The guest house is lovely, just as described, with everything we needed. Karen paid great attention to every detail and is a welcoming host. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. We would love to stay here again.
The property was well maintained and very welcoming. Karen and her dog Rip where amazing host. A great place to slow things down and to take it easy between visiting the State and National Parks.
Such a great place to stay. The hosts were so kind and have thought of everything in the rental including a nice big basket of snacks to take with to Crater Lake. Just a short drive to Medford airport. The sheep and onsite shop are amazing. The sunsets are the best

Absolutely amazing property and an even more amazing host. Karen and Jon were great at communication and just made you feel at home. How can you beat freshly baked sourdough bread and farm fresh eggs waiting for you when you check in? Property was immaculate and rivals five star hotels' cleanliness. Would definitely stay here again if in the area again!
