We had a great stay at this cabin! We were in town for a wedding, so unfortunately we didn’t get to spend as much time enjoying the cabin and property as we would have liked. The deck overlooking the Cape Fear River was awesome, and even though there were other cabins nearby, the property still felt secluded and peaceful. We loved the fire pit, flat-top grill, and hammock, and the kids really enjoyed the loft beds. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The shower had great hot water, and the weather was perfect, with plenty of shade to enjoy the outdoors. We would love to come back for a longer stay and have more time to enjoy everything this place has to offer!
This is a rustic cabin surrounded by nature. It's actually two little cabins with the bedroom and bathroom in one and the kitchen, loft and a tiny living room in one. We stopped here for one night on our way to somewhere else. This is the kind of place you want to come and stay longer (fish, kayak or just enjoy nature). The checkin was very easy, the host responded promptly to all my questions. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, the ac in the bedroom is noisy. Also if you plan to stay longer and cook, you'll need more pots. There's just a couple Teflon pots but those were scratched and are not healthy to use because they release the forever chemicals in the food.
This cabin was a delightful surprise . When my Husband said we were going to the Cape Fear river I sure didn't think it would be this clean , private and peaceful , we appreciated the wildlife , and made memories with my Grandson that I will always cherish . We adore this gem and would love to stay every yr , it's that sweet !
This property is a gem. The cabins are beautifully kept and provided the perfect setting for our trip. What really stood out, however, was the hospitality; our host, Dale, went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. My mother and I had a fantastic experience and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! I will most definitely be returning, bringing the hubby this time!
Host is very responsive and cooperative. A must stay property and the Place is lovely and so close to nature and has a lovely kitchen with all necessary utensils and lovely and cozy bedroom. We had a great time welcoming the new year and would definitely come back during summer.
