Also known as “The Inn at Medowcroft”, we had an amazing stay. The countryside is beautiful, and we were met in the parking lot, escorted to the check-in desk, shown all the public areas, and escorted to our room. The hostess, learning that we had to leave the following morning prior to the usual breakfast time to make a planned event, made breakfast just for us an hour and a half earlier than the rest of the guests and personally served it. The property is a beautifully restored/renovated building with many modern conveniences. Far better than staying in a stuffy cookie cutter hotel and cost less besides!!
What a magical stay! Location was absolutely perfect - far enough away from downtown Staunton that you can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature, but also be close enough to the many shops and restaurants. Bill was a delight to talk to during breakfast, very knowledgeable of the history of the area. Absolutely would recommend for both families and couples.
This was everything it promised. Clean and cozy- so peaceful and quiet. It was close enough to Staunton to get dinner.Bill was very welcoming as a host. The full breakfast was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for one night. We loved the atmosphere, warm welcome, and yummy breakfast! The decor is very period appropriate while still having modern amenities. We are definitely saving this Inn for another visit someday!
Great experience, very home-like feeling, family oriented, great hospitality! Homestyle morning breakfast was a great start to the day! Fabulous restoration of the old log cabins which retains a warm farmhouse and rustic feel!
This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and the Inn at MeadowCroft was asbolutely amazing!! All staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Such a warm, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. The food was amazing! The character and history of the Inn makes it even more special. Highly recommend!!
We had a FABULOUS time staying at the Inn. It was beautiful, spacious, and up-to-date with all the amenities! Chris and Cindy were the most gracious hosts and the breakfasts were delicious! We loved the decor and the privacy of our room. The location of the Inn was perfect for hiking and visiting nearby quaint towns. We’d visit the Inn again in a heartbeat!
The description and pictures did not do justice to this Inn! It was fantastic! The staff was on point and Bill made our stay. We look forward to our return to Meadowcroft and would hesitate to send our friends and family here.
The place is wonderful. It is so peaceful, surrounded by nature (field, trees, flowers and sheep). Our room was super clear, spacious and very comfortable. No TV in the room which is a blessing! Breakfast was plentiful and we were happy to chat with our host Bill who is very knowledgeable about the area's history and culture. Staunton has a lot to offer and is a nice destination. I would come back in a heartbeat!
