A lovely weeks stay
I have just spent 8days at this properly with family (6 adults/ 4 primary aged children) as we had a wedding nearby.
The house itself is a good size with a lovely garden/ orchard at the back. The table tennis table in the basement was well used and enjoyed by the children. It is advertised as sleeping 10 people. On booking I didn’t realise that 2 of those people would have to sleep on child Zbeds on the floor. The children on the floor didn’t sleep very well as a result but it was ok - definitely not a property for 10 adults though!
Communication with the property manager was great both before arrival and during when we needed bedding getting out for the Zbeds.
It was very hot at times during the stay (over 40degrees) but we were unable to leave the bedroom windows/ shutters open to get air in overnight due to the mosquitoes. Air con would’ve been hugely beneficial but I appreciate that it isn’t always this hot!
Overall a great stay. Would recommend canoeing down the Dordogne from Quercyland aquapark - for €22pp we canoed about 5miles down the river and that ticket includes entrance to the water park. It’s fairly basic but the children loved it.
