Walk to Light Rail! Private Casita

Minutes away from the baseball and basketball stadiums; the museum district; cultural attractions; St. Joseph's Hospital and Barrow Neurological Institute. A short 1/2 block walk to the Encanto/Central Avenue light rail station allows for easy access from the airport. The perfect location for parents to visit college students at Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University. The casita is quiet and on a pretty palm-tree-lined street with Tudors, Bungalows, and Spanish Colonials.

Please note:
(-) Early check-in when available starting at 12 noon - 2pm for $35.
(-) The guest house is a separate entity located behind the main house.
(-) There are security recording devices on the property.
(-) There is a pool on the property used by the owners and children during the summer months. We always try to keep the sound down.
(-) Pets in the guest house must be kept crated when left alone.
(-) We have a very friendly, one-year-old mini Goldendoodle named Kramer. He loves belly scratches.

Lovely Casita in the city

The accommodations were first rate! Close to Phx museums and restaurants. A quiet street, but close to everything. The owner thought of everything to make a comfortable stay.

Winter Refuge

A refuge from Midwest winter and a place of comfort. Warm and welcoming from setting, hosts, and location. Flowers and palm trees and local eateries add to the pleasure.

A wonderfully clean and beautiful well-stocked casita with a comfy bed and everything you need! The light rail is very close and easy to use. I can’t recommend this property highly enough!

This was a sweet little casita that was perfect for 2. We had a rental car so it was easy to get around and the casita was centrally located. Bed was really comfy and everything you might need was supplied. Really a great space!

Perfect!

We were in town for a concert and were clueless of where a good location to stay would be. This property was close to the airport, light rail, and concert! This would be a great place in a cute little area on a dead end road, to stay for a game. Hosts were easy to contact and very helpful with questions we had about getting around downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful pet friendly property in great area

We chose this property because it is pet friendly and close to family. It was the perfect place to spend a few days! Walks around the neighborhood with our dog were great and the owners were friendly, responsive and hospitable! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing first experience!

This was an amazing stay.The location was a great area and close to where we were hanging out for the weekend. This was a spur of the moment travel decision and finding a location that was close to downtown at an extremely reasonable price. If there a future trips to Phoenix I hope we can be lucky again. This place was a gem!

What makes this property unique

Fully renovated casita behind our personal residence with a private entrance and code access. Fully equipped galley kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, and toaster. The bedroom area has a queen bed with pillows, linens, a dresser, and a closet with hangers. A full-size air mattress is available. The bathroom has a tub and shower and includes linens, basic toiletries, and a hairdryer. An ironing board and iron are located in the closet.
Family-friendly amenities including pack-and-play, books, and toys are available upon request. Fast Internet and a Roku-equipped TV with Netflix, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video.
Please Note: There is a pool on the property used by the owners and children. We always try to keep the sound down and wrap things up no later than 8PM.
