This two-story, snowbird-friendly getaway has everything you and your family or group of friends could need to truly leave all of your worries behind and start enjoying your trip to Alabama. Take advantage of the furnished balcony and enjoy your meals with a view thanks to the outdoor dining area. Unwind in the living area after lunch and before heading to the beach or to one of the shared outdoor pools available. There is a shared BBQ area available as well in case you feel like treating your guests to a marvelous cookout.

Nestled between Orange Beach and Perdido Key, this riverfront retreat offers a location near it all! Take an adventure to the Alabama/Florida state line (one mile away) and enjoy great food, live bands, and even bingo at the famous FloraBama across the street, just a short walk from you. This condo has the best of both worlds with amazing views of Old River from the condo and deeded beach access right across the street! You are also just a short drive to many delicious dining options such as Cobalt, Louisiana Lagniappe, Shrimp Basket, and many more! Downtown Orange Beach is a short three-and-a-half-mile drive west where even more dining options can be found. The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail goes past calm freshwater lakes, mysterious coastal swamps, and lush wetlands.

Not bad for the money

It had a pool and the little beach on the property had some crabs we watched. The water there at the condo was stinky. I wouldn’t recommend getting in it. The room was clean and had most of what we needed for the weekend. If you have a boat you want to put in the water this is a great place to stay.

Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy

Epic fail

The property gate is an additional fee of $62.10 per car. The code to get in took over an hour to receive. That gate code sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. Thank goodness we had two vehicles with two different codes because only one of them would work each time. The door lock to the property was inconsistent to work and had a 10 digit code to remember. If you call anyone for assistance don't bet that you will get any because I heard "That's not my problem" more than a few times when we were locked out of the parking gate or the condo itself. The condo was worn out and everything was pieced together. Don't plan on cooking unless you bring your own pans, knives, pot holders, dish towels, etc. Plus, if you do cook, the oven takes well over an hour to work for something that should take 20 minutes. The pool is advertised as "bay side" that means a pool stuck in a parking lot with no view unless you want to count the tall fence. No wi-fi was available to use. This was great with a college student who had assignments to finish. We will look elsewhere for our next visit.

Nice view

The view was perfect and a great location. The boat slip area looked very nice. The tennis courts looked great! Outdoor areas were definitely in better shape than the inside of the unit.
