I was disappointed when I made the reservation that it was not disclosed that the beach was under construction due to erosion and we could not access it but had to take a golf cart ride to the nearest beach. Driver David was awesome!!! But I was looking forward to being able to just walk out to the beach that is why i booked this. I felt that the unit probably needs updated, ex. hair dryer and iron. My son and I did love the area for our first time in New Smyrna.

Great location, but...

The location was great. The unit was somewhat dated, but we expected that based on the pictures and price. The disappointing part was the property was filthy. We spent most of one day mopping, cleaning, and washing extra bedding before using due to the smell. In the property management's defense, they refunded us the cleaning fee and the cost of our last evening as we departed early because we could get in a day early at our next destination.

Great stay

Would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and calm stay. You are literally steps away from the private beach and a short drive from the shops in New Smyrna.
