Beautiful mid century modern retreat with the view of the serene wooded back yard. View is even more beautiful during the fall season. Large windows surrounds the house, filled with natural light. Outdoor patio area upstairs and downstairs. Beautifully Decorated with mid century modern furniture. Fenced in yard area.

Friends trip

This place was perfect for our weekend trip. We had 8 people stay and it was extremely comfortable for all of us. The private setting felt safe and clean.

Friends Giving

The house was very nice and spacious. The house was very clean but the furniture could use some changing. I would recommend changing all furniture except for the comfy couch in the living room. In addition, i recommend taking a look at the oven. When cooking using both ovens at the same time, the ovens shut off, leaving our beautiful bird uncooked until we noticed. The house location was nice and the views were great too. We also recommend getting some blinds, the sun our true enemy this stay. But we would use again! Thank you!

A nice, but rundown property

The house worked fine for us and what we needed it for, but overall, the house is not at all user friendly, and rundown. When we arrived, the wifi was not working, and the owner was unable to do anything remotely to fix it. I spent an hour resetting the router and configuring it. The speaker system for the living room required a hard reset, downloading an app and creating an account to use. They worked well, but definitely not a good choice of speakers for a rental property. The main issue was that the house itself was falling apart, literally. Most everything was broken to some extent. The soundbar for the main tv was cutting in and out, and the buttons on the remote needed to change audio source also didnt work. Another review mentioned the ovens dont work, and the owner told me they did, but they were broken in a weird way. They would get to the preheat temp, then stop supplying heat but still say it was at 350. We had to keep turning off and resetting it to 350 to keep the temp high enough to cook anything. The cool living room fireplace doesnt work. The sliding doors to the outside deck were very difficult to slide open enough to use. That being said, it is a very pet friendly house, with a good fenced in yard and convenient gates in the house to keep the puppers constrained. The layout was very cool for a weekend hangout. In short, cool house, depending on what you want to use it for. Just be prepared to fix things or make do.

Disappointed girls weekend

We had a great Christmas cookie baking weekend planned with girlfriends. It all went south when we turned on the ovens. Ovens didn’t work. We contacted the host and she said she had no one to come out to fix the ovens. She said “Ovens were not necessity like heat, lights or water. But don’t I pay for the whole house???? The house was filthy. The pantry and cabinets were full of open food, broken appliances and utensils and the shelves were covered with debris. There were no locks on the glass exterior sliding doors, only wooden rods. This felt unsafe for us woman. We found salamanders in the lower level bedroom, that we had to remove, Totally Gross. The carpets in the bedrooms were stained and so was the only sofa in the upper level. You can tell this house is very pet friendly. Yuck!! Fireplace had no remote to start. 4 coffee pots, but only one worked… Note to host. Clean out the cabinet and linen closets, fix the ovens, get rid of all unwanted food and items in drawers and cabinets. Replace carpet. This house could be awesome if only someone cared!
