Approximately 1250 square feet 1 bedroom with king bed which sets above a garage with entry via stairs from front door below.
Large family gathering area that has a queen sleeper sofa, pool table and fireplace. Queen air mattress also available. Large pool and hot tub with outdoor kitchen. Stocked catfish pond to catch your fresh catfish dinner prepared at the outdoor kitchen. You can bring your bicycles to ride through trails and explore the property by hiking and catch a glimpse of some wildlife. Can also do wild boar hunting with advance notice. Get away from the big city and enjoy the country life. Centrally located, 25 minutes to Kyle Field in College Station, 20 minutes to Lake Somerville and just over an hour to Austin and Waco.

Amazing place to stay! If you are looking for a great peaceful getaway, this is the place to go! Fantastic amenities, lovely scenery, and our hosts Irma and William were excellent, very nice and attentive. Overall a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!

Irma and Bill are superb hosts amd readily available! Gave great recommendations! The property is so clean and peaceful. Being close to their house is not an inconvenience at all, they went out of their way to make you feel like you have your own private getaway! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway

It was all around a great experience! The house was very nice and very clean. The outdoor deck and patio areas were very nice as well. The kids loved swimming in the beautiful pool and making s’mores in the fire pit after dark. Irma and Bill were great hosts as well. It was all just a great experience!

Great R&R House

The house and property is just beautiful! The pool is absolutely gorgeous. The house is very clean and organized. Everything we needed for our weekend trip. The property is country living for sure but TOTALLY worth the short drive. And the hosts, probably one of the best couples that we have experienced using VRBO. We will definitely be back.

Country Paradise!

My family and I had a great time! The hosts are wonderful, welcoming people and the property was immaculate. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the pool. I decided to take a walk of the property one morning and found myself on the wrong side of a large bulldog and Bill came and rescued me ASAP! I highly recommend. We will definitely return.

Wonderful stay!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was was very clean and all the decor and the touches were beautiful and very welcoming. The scenery itself was beautiful, peaceful and authentic very relaxing and refreshing. My kids enjoyed the slide on the side of the deck, and has a great time the swimming pool. I enjoyed the rooftop deck surrounded by beautiful hummingbirds. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. Irma and William are absolutely wonderful, caring hosts. They truly deliver southern hospitality at it’s best! Can’t wait to go back.

Stepping out of the pandemic

Staying here was a chance to break away from the big city, and furthermore the pandemic. We brought bikes and rode the 50 acres, collected eggs for breakfast and watched the international space station soar by at night. My tweens loved the pool table, games and nerf guns! We will be back.

Perfect birthday setting

We came out to Caldwell to ride horses and celebrate my birthday. Will and Irma were great hosts in every way and I felt beyond safe on their property. The sunset was beautiful, the hot tub was perfect temperature and being greeted by hummingbirds in the bedroom was such a nice surprise. High ceilings, so much room to spread out and get comfortable! I will definitely be back soon! An amazing find. A+

Fun getaway house for kids and adults!

Most importantly is communication with the host! Irma was so fast to respond to all of my questions. The house was just what we needed. My kids, had a blast on the slide, running around on the property and our adventure on the trails. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck stargazing, cooking outside, and playing pool! We will be back since we came right before Christmas. That didn’t keep the kids out of the hot tub! Bill and Irma are so friendly and welcoming to their property.

My family and I visited this awesome guest house over Father’s Day weekend. Bill and Irma were so welcoming and friendly and we were truly sad to go. My 9 year old was set on staying behind and we had to promise him we would visit again. We are already checking our calendars for the next time we can make the trip. First of all, let me start by saying that this property is top notch. They really take care of the place and is perfect for a weekend getaway, or longer. The property owners are on-site but do not bother you. They are amazing people and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. We had a blast. The pool was amazing and the access to the property for exploring was so fun. We will stay exclusively here every time we come to visit our daughter at A&M. What a wonderful place.
