Romantic Spanish Mansion In Pasadena!

Indulge in Old Hollywood Glamor at Paul Williams' 1929 Spanish Revival Home - a 4BD/4BA historic gem.

Enjoy a gourmet kitchen w/ a "La Canche" stove, high-end appliances, and a backyard oasis complete with a jacuzzi and ping-pong.

Note: 4th bedroom in the tower has a daybed w/o a door/bathroom.

Friendly reminder: Please use the front door for entry. HOA allows 2 cars in the driveway due to the narrow one-way road. Additional cars can park at 160 Fern Drive, in the empty lot above our house. Kindly park deep into the lot.

No pets sorry.


Note that the private attached maid's quarters on the side of the house is not included in your stay. It's owned by my daughter who stays or rents it out.

Great house with a mix of beautiful old and stunning modernization. The kitchen has been beautifully updated and the master bathroom is wonderful. Lovely large double shower with great water pressure. We enjoyed our time here. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful Home in Great Location

This home was beautifully restored and decorated perfectly. Well equipped for anything you would need. Owner was so helpful and really wanted us to have a great stay. Great outdoor space for eating, relaxing and enjoying a cocktail with awesome views of the mountains. Close to great restaurants and lots of things to do. Only downside was a bit of unexpected road noise.

Phenomenal Property

This home is exactly as it is pictured and described! It is truly a beauty of a home that is spacious and offers such a peaceful feeling. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the tree lines was a great end to the day. The host was accommodating and was always available even if it was just a suggestion for a great place to eat. I am already looking forward to our next trip and staying at this gorgeous home!

Beautifully restored home

This home is huge and has every amenity needed. View is beautiful, decor is amazing. There are steps inside needed to get to bedrooms/bathroom so take that into consideration but I would highly recommend this for anyone who appreciates beautiful old homes with all of the upgrades! Communication was excellent, check in was easy and home is close to many restaurants and attractions.

Beautiful house in the hills of Pasadena

Beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked house. It feels very luxurious and has just about everything you could ask for to enjoy your stay. Communication with the owner was seamless. Prime location near plenty of restaurants and shops. The only negative is the house is located very close to the freeway so there is traffic noise, especially when hanging outside - we sort of got used to it, but if you are sensitive to noise, it could be an issue.

In town for my daughters wedding

My daughter got married this weekend in Pasadena. We are not from the area so I needed a nice place for her to relax and get ready. The house is spectacular! The fact that this host shares the experience of this property with others is amazing.! My family was able to relax, be together as a family as opposed to hotel and pics of my daughter getting her hair, make up and getting dressed look out of a magazine! Host was helpful and responsive. Great experience !

Impressive hillside residence in Pasadena. 5 minutes to old-town Pasadena and also within 2 miles of the Rose Bowl. Master bedroom and 2 guest bedrooms, all 3 have en suite full baths. There's a 4th bedroom (kids) with no bath. Beautiful kitchen and lounging areas and more than enough outdoor deck space. Owner was delightful and very responsive. This home made our trip memorable. We had 3 couples staying and the house never felt crowded. Thank you Jeffery!!!!

From the moment we arrived until departure everything was perfect! The house is gorgeous, clean, spectacular views, comfortable, welcoming, etc! I also can’t say enough about how great the host Jeff was! He immediately answered all questions and was so welcoming! My daughter was getting married locally, we had all her bridesmaids come get ready at the house, which was so fun and great for the girls! We got absolutely awesome pictures! Dramatic view home in west Pasadena

This was a spectacular house and location for our family gathering. It fully lives up to the great views and architecture shown in the listing photos, and we loved and used the outdoor spaces. We also enjoyed walking from the house - to Old Town Pasadena and through the adjacent neighborhoods. Wonderful also to have kitchen well-stocked with staples. For other travelers, note that the house has a LOT of stairs (no bedrooms accessible w/o stairs) so consider that for groups with mobility-impaired people or little kids. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, there's lots of freeway noise so be prepared. Neither item affected our enjoyment. Owner was very accessible and helpful.

Incredible Experience - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have used VRBO and other similar websites all over the world (e.g., Faroe Islands, Iceland, Hawaii, St. Martin, London, etc.). This home EASILY surpasses all others. What a rare jewel amongst so many cookie cutter vacation homes. If the website “One Fine Stay” covered the California geography, this is where you would find this Spanish mansion listed. The owners clearly appreciate architecture and history, and have not overlooked a single detail! Every room, nook and cranny of this spacious place considers the guest experience. We were in town for a family wedding, and needed a place that provided a space for togetherness, as well as individual privacy. The ability to rent out both the main house, and to connect a separate apartment was exactly what we needed. The family was attentive to all of where questions, despite the VRBO website slipping up on the delivery of 1 key (instead of two) when we arrived, while being overseas on vacation themselves. We hope to have the good fortune to stay here again. In the meantime, our entire family will be talking about this home as the experience of a lifetime for years to come!

Stayed for a couple of days with my family, gorgeous big house, very comfortable, great views, my kids enjoyed the spa in the patio, we loved the play room specially arcade games, amazing surround system is top of the line (a plus) it felt like home away from home, every detail in the house is immaculate, will definitely stay again… great communication with Jeffery, he was attentive and quick to respond. House near a great variety of shops and restaurants nearby, even saw a couple of deers outside our window.

We love to travel and just bought a cabin in Coeure D'Alene, Idaho on 10 acres so we are wanting to go there a lot so our home is available for the first time!

We love life and have 4 kids and travel as much as possible.

This is one of the crown jewels of Pasadena. It's a historic, mills act home built by one of the most revered architects of the last 100 years. Paul Williams is an african american man who defied the odds and built the Beverly Hills Hotel and many homes in Pasadena and Beverly Hills.
