Home Away From Home

Charming and cozy three bedroom, two bath, all brick home located in a quiet neighborhood in Nixa, MO. You will enjoy the open floor-plan, four smart televisions with DirecTV/Netflix & fast WIFI. The kitchen is equipped with most essentials for cooking a meal if desired. Some spices & oils are made available, along with coffee, tea and a Welcome basket with a bottle of wine, bottled water, snacks and fresh fruit.
There are three bedrooms with queen size beds with mattress & pillow covers. The bathrooms are clean and inviting, with the Master having a jacuzzi tub. You will find toiletry necessities in case you forget yours.
Guests will have access to the entire home, other than the garage.
There is an inviting deck in the back, secluded and quiet, where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.
Occupancy maximum is 6 guests, which includes children 0-17 years of age.
Pets are not allowed in the home, and that includes support animals.

Spring Stay

We came for a wedding and wanted to stay near family and town if possible. The house was only 15 min from other family members and restaurants. The house is well cared for and has a nice deck to sit in the am. The bedrooms were very nice and the walk in closet was great for getting all of our wedding attire ready. We used the kitchen a little. It was nice and easy to get in the door and lock it as we were leaving.

Sister’s Birthday

Me, my daughter and 2 little grandsons had the BEST time visiting my Sister and Family. Miss Sherrie’s Home made it feel just like we were home, she was so kind and helpful. We only had 1 full day for the grandkids, the other day was for my Sister’s Birthday, but we went to Buc-ee’s, then to the Wild Animal Safari, the drive through and the animals come to your car, they loved that! We made Tic Tok videos later! lol The Dickerson Zoo is nice, of course the Aquarium and Bass Pro, Fantastic Caverns too! Oh and Incredible Pizza, the kids love it! Our visit was Great! And Miss Sherrie was wonderful to work with! Lord willing, I’ll do it again next year!

Cozy and Clean!

This was a wonderful place to stay as we visited family in Nixa. It was a very cozy home with all of the amenities we could’ve wanted/needed. Sherri was exceptional to work with and very accommodating. We plan to stay here again for future visits! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fantastic Experience

It's obvious that this owner has a gift for hospitality. The home was warm and inviting and so much detail was given to making sure everything we needed for our 2 night stay was provided. Would highly recommend and stay again every time we're visiting Branson.

Trip to Nixa

This home is beautiful and cozy. There is a well stocked kitchen and all toiletries if you should forget something. The neighborhood is quiet. I will stay here again when visiting Nixa.

Great place, great host

The house was clean and nicely decorated and the host was very helpful! I loved her notes and instructions and all the extras she left for guests. Snacks, fruit, a kitchen well stocked. Could not have asked for a better house. Also the neighborhood was very quiet! I would definitely stay here again!

Granddaughters Wedding

Other families from out of state came for the wedding. Our son didn’t have room for everyone. This wa perfect home/location for all activities. We had great time and our host was amazing. Perfect visit!

Warm and friendly place to stay

When I opened the door, I immediately felt like I was home. My sister said, "I could move into this house. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The bedroom decor was very peaceful for sleeping, the main area of the house was truly "family" style, the patio was inviting for conversation. If this house is available when I go back I will try to reserve it.

Exactly what a stay away from home should be

Everything about the process from booking to information about what was around us, was a great experience. The house is full of notes that help you know where things are at or what needs to be done. It's those type of small touches that made this a great place to stay. If we visit the area again, this is where we'll stay.

This property exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean and so welcoming with the fruit basket and snack basket. The host even left bottled water in the fridge. We plan to stay again. Truly a great experience. It was even decorated for fall.

Wow! What a hidden gem!

I almost don’t want to post, for fear that this place won’t be available when we return! Everything was spotless & immaculate! A/C is great. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided! Spring Break Trip

Our trip to Sherrie's Home Away from Home was amazing! Sherrie is a wonderful host. Sherrie is easy to communicate with and very responsive. Sherrie is thoughtful and considerate of others. Sherrie goes out her way to make sure her guests can have a stress free time. Her home brought our trip to a full circle after much planning and preparation to go there. Her place is very clean, comfy, in a friendly neighbor, not far from stores and restaurants. Everything was perfect! I will definitely book with her every time I visit Missouri. You will not be disappointed booking with her. She lets you know how thankful she is for booking with her. She even adds a bonus to show her gratitude with a thank you note and a bottle of wine!
