Wonderful and calm area with choir infrastructure if you are mobile. Lovely beaches, good food and Winejards are inviting you. The house has everything you need and is well equipped. However, it could need a little makeover. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend it for families.

Awesome property!

Ana and her home were amazing! The garden and top floor terrace were our favorite places to hang out with morning coffee or an evening beverage. Ana met us at the property, gave us a full tour, provided helpful tips and answered all of our questions.

Ideal Familly Vacation

We have really enjoyed the stay in the house. The owners were friendly and very helpful (and definitely not annoying:) The house and its equipment is not new but it was perfectly maintained and clean and included everything we needed for satisfactory stay. The village itself is very small and (not surprisingly) lacks some essential services (good restaurant, ATM), however, very positive is the local supermarket opened daily in fact from the down until the sunset... Everything else can be found in neighboring villages / towns. The access to the beach is in theory possible by foot (in reality hardly, though; it is generally within walking distance but there is a substantial altitude difference and in the Croatian afternoon temperatures...). The accessible beaches are not typical "resort" beaches. On one hand there is no public equipment to be used (public toilets, bars etc.), on the other hand, even on the "big" one (Kalavojna) even in the main season (July) we were usually almost alone. The sea was nice and clean. I can really recommend the property for vacation with kids. Petr

Urlaub in Rakalj

Das Haus ist so wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin sehr nett. Leider fehlt es an den Fenstern an Mückennetzen. So kann man immer nur ein Fenster Abends aufmachen. Da hilft auch kein Ventilator der zur Verfügung steht, eshat nur eins von drei Schlafzimmern eine Klimaanlage. Da das Haus an der Hauptstraße des Ortes liegt, ist es tagsüber nicht gerade leise.

Urlaub mitten in authentischem kroatischen Dorf in Nähe zur Küste

Unser Urlaub in Anas Haus in Rakalj hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Haus (und seine Ausstattung) ist großzügig und sehr warmherzig gestaltet. Im Hof kann man sitzen und Mahlzeiten einnehmen, sich aber auch bei zu großer Hitze ins Haus zurückziehen. Von der Dachterasse hat man einen weiten Blick über die Landschaft. Das Haus befindet sich im Dorfkern in einer Kurve mit nicht wenig und manchmal recht lautem Verkehr, was vor allem in den Morgenstunden etwas beeinträchtigend ist. Dennoch fühlten wir uns sehr wohl und Teil des dortigen Lebens. Die Bewohner des Ortes sind freundlich; besonders gefiel uns der Konzum mit seinem (trotz der Kleinheit) reichen Angebot. Die Küste ist nicht weit enfernt (zu Fuß ca. 45 Minuten) und bietet viele Möglichkeiten, einen für die eigenen Bedürfnisse passenden Strand zu finden. Ein Küstenweg lädt zu kleinen Wanderungen von Bucht zu Bucht ein ... Wir waren im Großen und Ganzen sehr zufrieden mit unserem Familienurlaub in Rakalj bei Ana. Danke!

schöne Unterkunft, viele Ausflugsziele

Sehr schöne, geräumige Unterkunft, mit sehr netter Vermieterin. Wein und Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang oben auf der Dachterrasse. Buchten mit glasklarem Wasser schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar (ideal zum Schnorcheln), und diverse Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Pula, Rovinj, Labin, oder auch die Ziegenfarm Kumparicka gleich hinter Krnica). Gerne wieder!

Wir kommen wieder

Mit unseren vier erwachsenen Kindern haben wir eine wunderbare Zeit in Rakalj verbracht. Das Haus war wirklich klasse, die Dachterrasse ein Traum und auch den Außenbereich mit Grill haben wir ausgiebig genutzt. Die Gegend ist wunderbar, wir konnten täglich etwas unternehmen und waren keinen Touristenmassen ausgeliefert. Wer einen ruhigen, entspannenden Urlaub braucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Ana ist eine tolle und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin, die auch gerne etwas über die Geschichte des Hauses verrät. Geheimtipps sollte man ja nicht verraten, aber ich will mal nicht so sein…. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder,

Sehr optimal für Erwachsene, die gerne etwas Abseits des Trubels Urlaub machen wollen. Sehr traumhafte Strände mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen.

Charmantes Haus in schönem Dorf

Wir, Paar mit kleiner Tochter, verbrachten in Rakalj einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Das Haus war genau passend für unsere Bedürfnisse, bot viel Platz und alles Notwendige und, ganz wichtig, Kühle an heißen Tagen. Der Garten war perfekt für das Frühstück, die herrliche Dachterrasse dann perfekt, um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Das drumherum liegende Dorf gefiel uns sehr gut. Hier wird gelebt und geschwatzt, beim kleinen Supermarkt nebst Pizzeria trifft man sich, sowohl Besucher als auch Einheimische. Nachts ist aber Ruhe...auch nicht schlecht. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Zu den Stränden muss man mit dem Auto ein paar Minuten fahren. Das ist aber lohnenswert, erwarten einen doch dann ruhige Buchten mit herrlichem Wasser. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Great House, great place!

The house is really nice! Everything was clean and in place. The garden is very chill and the two terraces invite to relax but also to seclude onself, in case you need some time for yourself. The rocky beach is very nearby with the car. We walked once, and it took about 45 minutes relaxed walking. Also the beach was empty. In September, you will have the stones for yourself. We went to a nationalpark near Pula, which is nice and only about 1h driving. All in all, the house is great. The only downside I can imagine, is that there are passing about 2-3 cars per hour directly next to the house. But I guess it was just so super silent the rest of the time, that you somehow notice. It is not "loud" like in a city. Ana is a very nice and kind person. She even sent some stuff after us, that we forgot in the house.. (nonetheless, be nice and don't leave anything :)) PS: We spend a lot of time playing role play games (dnd) on the terrace and the big table in the living room. For that purpose, it's amazing! Thanks Ana, we'll be back!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Haus sehr komfortabel. Die Betreuung sehr gut und sehr hilfsbereit, auch und besonders, als es Probleme mit unserem Auto gab. Herrlich war die Badebucht ganz in der Nähe. Das haben unsere Kinder sehr genossen.

wirklich schöne Unterkunft

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir verbrachten dort eine schöne Woche mit unseren drei Kindern (12,12, 14 Jahre). Es ist genug Platz, dass man sich gut erholen kann. Der Sitzplatz draussen ist liebevoll mit Kissen und Tischdecke wie auf den Bildern ausgestattet. Alle Bilder entsprechen den echten Gegebenheiten. Ana hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert, das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, wie auch die Spülmaschine. Man kann zu Fuss in ca. 30 min an die Küste kommen (schöne einsame Badebuchten), mit dem Auto ist man dort in 10 min. Das Dorf ist etwas verschlafen und einsam, allerdings ist am Wochenende im Nachbarhaus mitunter DIsko, die dann bis 3 Uhr in den Morgen geht. Die Dachterrasse ist toll, bei gutem Wetter sicher abends herrlich. Alles war sehr sauber und angenehm. WIr können diese Unterkunft gut weiter empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Villa im ruhigen Dorf in Rakalj

Wie dir Überschrift bereits verrät, liegt diese wunderschöne Villa in einem kleinen Dorf in Rakalj. Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. In der idyllischen Laube verbrachten wir so manchen lustigen Abend. Der Strand ist etwa 5 min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen, allerdings muss man einen etwas holprigen Schotterweg auf sich nehmen. Ich kann aber getrost dieses Appartement wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Achtung: Denkt an Bargeld...der Ort hat keinen Bankomaten (der nächste befindet sich etwa 15 km in Barban).

Toller Urlaub in der Villa Istria

Zwei Wochen haben wir in der Villa Istria in Rakalj erleben dürfen und man kann sagen, es war ein richtig gelungener Urlaub dort. Das Ferienhaus liegt zentral im Ort Rakalj, das Meer ist mit dem Auto bequem innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen und die (Kies-) Sträne sind nie überfüllt gewesen. Und das Mitte August zur absoluten Hochsaison, einfach genial. Auch die Ausstattung des Hauses kann sich sehen lassen. Die Steintische im Garten haben wir so gut wie jeden Tag für Frühstück und Abendessen genutzt. Ebenso haben wir oft den Abend auf der Dachterrasse mit der herrlichen Aussicht auf die umliegende Umgebung ausklingen lassen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt, sodass man sich auf Anhieb wohl fühlen konnte. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das zur Verfügung gestellte WLAN, was sich vor allem dann als nützlich erweist, wenn man die Ausflüge in die Region planen will. Auch als Ausgangspunkt dafür ist das Haus gut geeignet, da man eigentlich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im Süden Istriens innerhalb einer guten Stunde erreichen kann. Alles in allem haben wir die zwei Wochen sehr genossen und kamen gut erholt aus dem Urlaub zurück. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön an die beiden netten Vermieterinnen und das tolle Ferienhaus.

Haus Istria

Das Landhaus Istria in Rakalj ist ruhig gelegen, komfortabel ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Abgeschiedenheit ist für Ruhesuchende ideal. Auch für Familien mit Kindern ist das Haus gut geeignet, da es einen Garten hat. Man kann vom Haus aus gut spazieren gehen und auch kleine Wanderungen Richtung Küste unternehmen. In Prodol gibt es eine gute Pizzeria (Luna) und in Bratulici ein Restaurant, in dem istrische Spezialitäten auf der Karte werden. Von Rakalj sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten Istriens wie Pula, Rovinj, Porec, Labin, Brijuni-Inseln etc. gut zu erreichen (max. ca. 1 h).
