LOVED THE CABIN NOT THE LOCATION

Loved the cabin but it's not as private as we thought it was going to be from the pictures on the internet and we wouldn't stay again do to the building of a new cabin directly in front of our cabin. We like privacy when we rent cabin's The cabin is great you have a lot of stairs but we loved the cabin itself.❤️

Small things to be aware of, but very nice overall!

The cabin was nice, clean, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the large upstairs suite, the fact that the kitchen had almost everything you need to prepare meals, and that there was a very nice amount of towels. The pictures of the outside of the cabin make it seem like the cabin is isolated, which is definitely not the case. We were a little surprised by how close other cabins were, but overall it was fine. Check in/out info varies depending on whether you read your emails or the binder located inside the house, but again not a huge deal. The day we were scheduled to leave there was unexpected snow and ice, so we were stuck unable to drive down until later that afternoon. The associate from Bear Camp Cabins seemed frustrated with this and asked us more than once if we were certain we couldn't just try to drive down, but eventually seemed to grasp the severity of the situation and ended up being quite accommodating. Our only real complaint was how uncomfortable the bed was. Other than that, everything was easy to work around and didn't cause much issue. We genuinely enjoyed our stay, and would consider using Bear Camp Cabins again.

Nice but be prepared to climb many steps

Overall this wasn't a bad cabin, just not our favorite. First, it's quite challenging to find it so once GPS says you've arrived, continue up the hill until you reach the end of the road. Since we had brought a lot of food with us due to COVID, lugging it up the main steps to get to the main floor was a struggle. Then, it turned out the master was on the second floor so more steps. Grilling was also a challenge since the grill was on the bottom level/parking lot thus you had to lug all food, utensils down to the parking area then haul it all up when done cooking. The main floor was good for seating and gathering although only had table seating for 4 and no bar/bar stools. Pull out sofa on main floor less than stellar per my daughter. Also, just a 1/2 bath on main floor so a bit awkward to get everyone's showers in. Hot tub was the usual but nice enough. Views were non-existant as the cabin sits within lots of trees, no "vistas" across a valley. Again, nice enough but since we go to the area about 3x per year, will be looking for something different next time.

Very nice

This cabin was just what I wanted, in the hills away from traffic. Very clean and well kept. Could use a new hot tub cover and the directions to the cabin should state that it is the last house on the road. Money well spent.

Run down property and hidden fees

Property needs updating, worn out bathroom floors, furniture and the bed and pillows were not comfortable booked for 3 nights and when we were contacted day before trip we only had 2 days and the price changed, they actually did us a favor as we were ready for a bed that was comfortable.
