Cooler Days , Cozier Stays. What are you waiting for “the mountains are calling!” One of the few rentals in Nederland that has central AC! Secluded mountain getaway in the Rocky Mountains at 8300 ft. Perched on a panoramic hillside above north Boulder creek, our house is a great place to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding wilderness. It’s common to have deer, elk, moose and fox in our yard. Come enjoy complementary coffee or tea on our expensive deck overlooking Kiowa and Albion peaks which are both over 13,000 ft peaks. Hang out in the hammocks, jump on the trampoline, play corn hole and relax by the outside fire pit. With over 300 sunny days a year in Colorado you will have plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors. For the outdoor enthusiast incredible hiking and biking trails are easily accessible from the property. There is rock climbing in nearby Boulder canyon. Nederland skate park, Ice rink and tennis courts are minutes away. In the winter enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and/or cross country skiing at nearby Eldora Mountain Ski Resort or backcountry trails. We offer high speed internet and free WiFi. We use starlink and have 264 mbps! Our mountain retreat is perfect for any kind of mountain adventure! Our house is great for entertaining with an open floor plan. There is a wood burning stove and we supply firewood & kindling. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. All 3 bedrooms are very spacious with incredible views. All bedrooms and the living room have hepa air purifiers.

You are welcome to bring your well behaved furry friends. We allow up to two dogs. There is an additional fee, $100 per stay

Please note we have a ring doorbell camera that views the outdoor entrance only.

In mountain settings, yellow well water, particularly in spring, is often due to iron oxidation or tannin leaching from soil and vegetation. These minerals are more readily dissolved and transported into the well water during periods of increased rainfall and runoff, which is common in the spring. We have a reverse osmosis system for purified drinking water and test water regularly.

During winter 4WD or AWD is recommended. We do our best to maintain the driveway and walkway free of snow and ice but it will be slippery at times. By making a reservation you accept risk of any/all personal injury or vehicle damage due to weather conditions.

We have a pack and play and high chair available. Please let us know if you need either of these during your stay.

Please message us before booking if you would like to bring more than 6 guest. We will consider additional guest on an individual basis.

Great place in the mountains!

We had trouble finding the place due to a GPS routing that tried to put us on an abandoned mining trail, but otherwise all was wonderful. Great location for relaxed visiting, plenty close to a town with a bunch of good places to eat and dozens of trails to hike. Even saw a moose at its watering hole. Highly recommend.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This Cabin served us extremely well during our week stay in Colorado. Cabin was extremely clean, and didn’t want for anything. If you’re looking for a secluded mountain experience not too far from civilization then this is the place. If we ever get back to the Boulder/Nederland area we will definitely be back.

Perfect Stay!

My family very much enjoyed our stay at Grace’s cabin. Beautiful views both in and outdoors! We cooked and baked in a fully stocked kitchen. Very clean and well organized place. We found the cabin very warm, inviting and relaxing. Grace even asked our family’s favorite games and had them available for us! Hope to revisit again! Definitely recommend!

Perfect Family Mountain Getaway

We had the best time at Moss Rocks! The property is absolutely beautiful and the cabin is super nice and comfortable. We spent so much time on the back deck while the kids played! We made s’mores in the evening and enjoyed the quietness of the mountains. Grace was an excellent host and our stay was so smooth! Everything was exactly as described. Wonderful cabin

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and outfitted with lots of thought and attention to detail. From cool mornings with a cup of coffee on the deck to late days with the firepit, the cabin maximizes the naturally beautiful environment. An added bonus was the keyboard at the reading nook; my daughter played that morning and night filling the living room with music. It is difficult to imagine not enjoying this cabin.

Solitude and stargazing

LOVED this property…so peaceful. Beautiful house with view of Apache (?) peak - so many hummingbirds. The house is very comfortable and accommodating. Very comfortable beds and couch. Well stocked kitchen. Owners are very easy to reach if anything is needed. It was the first house (but 6th house on our road trip) that I didn’t feel the need to bust out my own cleaning equipment and re- clean. Just lovely here and Ned (Nederland) is so quaint.

Fun week

The owners made the entire process super easy from start to finish! The location is close to the quaint city of Nederland , cute shops and food. Also close to our hikes at Long Lake and Mitchell Lake. ( get reservations!) There is not AC and it was a little warm upstairs. The ceiling fan provided a little relief . The beds are super comfy. The stove was tricky to operate for us seniors, so allow time to figure it out! Overall highly recommend !

Great mountain getaway!

Grace provided us with clear instruction to get to the property and get into the house days prior to arrival. The house itself was clean and as described. The kitchen had literally everything, from a French press to storage containers, which was greatly appreciated as we love to cook our own meals. Our toddler is two and loved the old cars, outdoor house and slide, and books they had. Prompt communication from Grace when an unexpected situation arose. Overall would definitely recommend If you’re looking for a secluded getaway in the mountains great kid friendly trails nearby.

Perfect Colorado Cabin

As Texans seeking an escape from the brutal summer, we are grateful for the time we got to recently spend at this property and in Colorado. The cabin is immaculate and well-appointed, and private yet also convenient to restaurants, bagels, and a grocery store in the picturesque small mountain town of Nederland. Boulder is about 30 minutes away, along one of the most scenic drives we have ever experienced. The fact that the property includes a Level 2 charger meant that we could rent a Tesla at the Denver airport car rental location, explore during the day, and charge up each night ready to go again the next morning. The owner was exceptionally communicative and accommodating, and could likely charge significantly more per night if she chose to (but we're not complaining!). Our son loved the foosball table in the kids' upstairs bedroom, as well as the trampoline outside.

Located between Nederland and Indian Peaks Wilderness, this property offers a great location for convenience and seclusion. Moss Rocks rocks!

This amazing house and property is perfect for so many reasons. The views are incredible, the house is immaculate and comfortable. The house is stocked with great new kitchen supplies. There is no need to leave, but the house is very close to fantastic hiking, climbing, mountain biking and much more. Nederland and Boulder are close. Estes Park is also close. There is wildlife all around the house (elk, deer, rabbits). The hummingbirds absolutely love this house, as do we! Thanks Grace!

We love that we are able to hike, bike, climb,cross country ski and snowboard amazing trails so close to our home. We invite you to stay at our home located at almost 8300 ft and enjoy the beauty and nature that is surrounding.
