Greetings Alice,
We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Home Run and hope we can welcome you back to Lake Tahoe again soon. Thank you for staying with us in Lake Tahoe!
This was a beautiful home to stay in, we’d hike in the back, wake up to Mountain View’s, looked at the stars on the patio, and cooked in the beautiful kitchen. We were about 20-30 mins from King’s Beach and was in reach of a lot activities. We’d definitely recommend and stay again!

An amazing property and literally everything you could ask for in a rental. We hope to come back often. Thank you to the owners and the property managers. The mangers went above and beyond for us. The cleaners were also impeccable in detail and effort.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Pluses include a kitchen with all the tableware, flatware, cooking utensils and pots and pans for everyone . Great gathering space for our large group. Number of bathrooms and bedrooms were made for a large group. Very clean and well stocked laundry. Not great- the shower in the primary was missing a door and the remaining door was held on with duct tape. A used shower curtain and rod were added to keep the water in the shower. The bbq which we had intended to use every night was definitely a disappointment. Burners shut off if they were turned to low, drippings pan missing and the foil that was left instead caused the dripping to catch on fire. The home has two dishwashers but unfortunately we had to stop using one because of a burning smell. If the owner fixed these issues, we would stay again.

We had a mini family reunion with one of my siblings family. There were 10 of us in total and there was plenty of room for everyone. Everything was in great working order and the kitchen is well-stocked for any of your cooking needs. We made lunches daily for the skiers and the location was perfect for them to get in and out of.
There are also plenty of activities within the house including many games and puzzles to keep everyone occupied. The hot tub is also a plus although its not very big, perhaps 5-6 people may be able to squeeze in.
I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a family gathering whatever time of the year that you are traveling.
This was a well-designed and comfortable house for 12 people. The kitchen was especially well-stocked--every size pot, pan, dish, etc. Two dishwashers and two ovens were especially appreciated. So was the heated driveway (which is steeper than the pictures indicate). Super location--easy walk to the village or ski-in/ski out. Will definitely return!
Four couples enjoyed this lovely, spacious home in the mountains above Lake Tahoe. The kitchen was amazing - stocked with everything a chef could want, e.g., utensils, cookware. We especially appreciated that the pantry came stocked with basic supplies - and we paid it forward leaving spices, ziplock baggies, etc. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces including eating areas and walking trails. The community amenities were also greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the health club and swimming pool. The smoke from this year’s fires did filter in for several days but did not preclude a great time. We will definitely consider another stay in this lovely home.
Property was in the perfect location for our group. Plenty of room, hiking trails right behind the house, 10 minutes from the lake. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and bbq grill.
Only downfall is that the house had a lot of carpeting and possibly had a dog in the house before our stay. It was not the best for kids who have allergies. The property manager was nice enough to drop off a vacuum for us to take care of the carpet dust.
We’d definitely consider this house again.
