Black Forest Hideaway

We had a fantastic week in Martin and Petra’s lovely cottage. Lots of great walking (if hilly!) and cycling opportunities. We visited Freiburg, Titisee, Donaueschingen and a few wineries. Enjoyed the visits from the chickens and cats and watching the swallows swoop past. Very restful and highly recommended.

Black Forest adventure!

What an amazing stay we had! All the modern amenities within a cozy and private cabin. Perfect location for hiking and exploring the surrounding trails and towns. Martin and Petra could not have been more gracious hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had everything we might need. Already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend!

Lovely House in a Wonderful area

Me and my wife spend six nights in this Lovely house, It was fully equipped, well furnished and very clean (looks like new). The area was wonderful specially for the nature Lovers with amazing view and birds sounds, relax and enjoy your breakfast in the terrace. Thank you Martin and Petra for your welcome and your hospitality, really you deserve the five stars. And sure i will stay in this lovely house in my next visit to Germany.

Fantastic!

A wonderful holiday home with very friendly and welcoming owners. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. You'll find everything you need, from crockery and cutlery through to a coffee machine complete with a selection of coffee pods. You can get on hiking trails virtually from the door and Kirchzarten is an easy drive away for shops, etc. The cottage has beautiful views down the valley and is full of wood and natural stone - very cosy! We were there for a week, but would have happily stayed forever. Highly recommended!

Simply Wonderful

We had a wonderful 10 night stay in this property which is without doubt the nicest holiday home we have ever stayed in. Martin and Petra were the perfect hosts - the way the property is located means it is utterly private, yet we knew they were nearby if we needed anything or there were any problems (there weren’t!). The photos make the house look wonderful but it is even better when you arrive. It was spotlessly clean throughout and I do not think there is anything else we could have possibly wanted that hadn’t been thought of and was not there already. Everything inside felt top quality and there were so many lovely touches - including delicious homemade cake and beer on arrival! An added bonus was the WiFi, not something we were expected but always very useful. We were after peace and quiet and certainly got just that, but without feeling totally cut off - supermarkets are only 10 minutes drive away and the lovely city of Freiburg im Breisgau is not much further. The views over the valley are stunning and we never tired of sitting on the decking in the beautiful sunshine. We went for a walking holiday and the location meant that we did so many amazing walks, all within 30 minutes drive. There are also walks directly from the property - two minutes and you are in a forest trail. This is a beautiful part of the world to stay. Many thanks to Martin and Petra - a five star property for sure!

Superschöne Unterkunft mit traumhaften Blick in die Landschaft. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Bei Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von unseren Gastgebern empfangen und es standen ein selbstgebackener Apfelkuchen und ein toller Blumenstrauß auf dem Esstisch sowie Getränke im Kühlschrank. Die Ausstattung des gemütlichen Hauses war großartig. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Erholsamer Urlaub mitten im Schwarzwald

Liebe Petra und lieber Martin, wir möchten uns herzlich bei euch bedanken für den tollen Urlaub in eurem Ferienhaus! Die Lage war einfach perfekt und das Haus war sehr gemütlich. Besser geht es nicht. Erholung pur.

Wir haben unsere Zeit einfach nur genossen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr nett und freundlich begrüßt. Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage und der Ausblick ist nicht zu toppen. Wer es ruhig mag, ist hier genau richtig. Am liebsten alles schlecht. ;-)

Wenn man Geheimtipps als solche belassen möchte, muss man sie eigentlich schlecht machen. Deswegen sollte man diese Unterkunft einfach total schlecht machen. Das wäre aber eine dicke Lüge. Super nette Gastgeber, tolle Lage, absolute Ruhe, Haus bestens eingerichtet. Beste Einweisung durch die Gastgeber, sie stehen immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sehr nette Empfang mit Blumenstrauß und kleinem Küchlein. Einige sehr nette Gespräche geführt. Kurz um: da ist der Geheimtipp dahin. Wir kommen wirklich sehr gerne wieder, wir freuen uns drauf. Motto: Urlaub von Anfang an!!!

Traumhafter Ort, um das Erwachen der Natur mitzuerleben

Wie bei unserem Aufenthalt zum Jahreswechsel waren auch Ostern und die Tage danach in dem wunderbaren Häuschen von Familie Tritschler einfach großartig. Wir haben die Natur direkt vor der Haustür und im nahen Kaiserstuhl sehr genossen, alles grünte und blühte. An regnerischen Tagen hat uns das gemütliche Wohnzimmer mit Schwedenofen begeistert und wir haben viel gelesen. Petra und Martin Tritschler sind sehr herzliche und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Danke nochmals für alles! Noch am Abend unserer Rückkehr nach Hause haben wir sofort wieder gebucht und freuen uns schon jetzt auf das Wiedersehen. Viele Grüße in den Schwarzwald!

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit traumhaftem Blick

Wir haben zum Jahreswechsel 2024/25 wunderbare Tage in dem gemütlichen, stilvoll eingerichteten und hochwertig ausgestatteten Häuschen verbracht. Wir haben die Nähe zur Natur und dem Schauinsland (teilweise mit Neuschnee!) und die Nähe zu Freiburg sehr genossen. Familie Tritschler haben wir als sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber erlebt. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt an Ostern und das Wiedersehen. Danke nochmals für alles und bis bald!

Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Einweisung. Die Lage des Häuschens ist genial. Halbhoch am Berg. Sehr ruhig und man kann von dort direkt loswandern. Optimal für zwei Personen.

Endroit superbe

Le chalet, situé à côté de la maison des propriétaires est aussi à quelques encablures de la forêt. Il y fait bon vivre, les propriétaires sont prévenants, mettant à disposition tout le nécessaire pour se sentir bien.
