Photographs on website where out of dateInvestment needed on pool furniture, parasols, sunbeds & cushions. Excellent swimming pool & was cleaned by Yvan everyday.Grotto was very interesting Location excellent for sightseeing. Better location map with directions would have aided finding the property more easily. Hosts were very friendly & helpful & made our stay very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay in the Dordogne. We loved the pool and the outdoor area. The rooms were clean and the owners were very kind. The beds were a little short for tall Dutch people, but we discovered that this is something common in France. We highly recommend this place to others.

Great stay

sitting on the balcony with a beer or a glass of wine looking over the forest listening to the birds singing,new pool very nice,local shops good restaurant by the lake good food not far 2km, good central place to go and look around lots to do,the host was a very nice man and his wife,would go again.

Fantastic family holiday

Beautiful. The house is set in lovely countryside, the pool is fantastic, well maintained and cleaned daily by the owner, Ivan Ivan was around to answer any questions but otherwise left us undisturbed. The fishing lake is an added bonus A great holiday, thank you

Lovely house in the middle of the country

The house and pool were excellent. The house had all we needed. The cave below the house was a real bonus, The beds were good as was the kitchen. We had a great time in the pool, and used it every day.

Love the sheep watching!

This is our second stay at Yvans property, so it's got to be good! It suits us as there's only 3 of us, so we get a double bed each! Great swimming pool. Balcony is great for sheep watching! And wildlife in general, as you are up a height. Place is built on a cave system!

We just had a wonderful week stay in Yvan's lovely house!We enjoyed the rustic charm and an authentic french feel to the house- some houses are so over renovated it feels like a new build house inside, but Yvan's house still had that wonderful old world feel we look for, whilst having the modern luxuries of a wonderful Pool, and the ensuite bathroom, which had a GREAT shower... so good all the kids used our ensuite to enjoy the shower!Note- the listing says it has a hot tub and a pool, but I think that might be a translation error as there is no hot tub. We weren't expecting one, and it didn't matter to us, as its not something we generally look for when booking but just a note to others if it matters to you.It was glorious to wake up to the bird song every morning- it was such a peaceful and calm environment. I loved throwing open the shutters each morning to greet the day!The kids loved seeing the donkey and the goats in the adjoining field!The home was well situated to travel to all the sights we wanted to see.We all loved Yvan too!He was such a warm and friendly gentleman and so helpful with accomodating us at the last minute. We couldn't ask for a better host!He also took us on a tour of the caves in the cliff under the property- caves that were once a home for Trogylidites with their caverns and tunnels- just amazing!We had such a wonderful week staying there and I would highly recommend both the house and its location and also the wonderful hosts to others

Un séjour tres agréable.Le gîte est remarquable, il ne manque rien.La piscine est vraiment superbe et très propre.Merci encore à notre chaleureux hôte qui s'assure que tout va bien mais reste néanmoins discret.Un petit bonus pour les animaux attachants, en particulier à l'anesse du pré en contrebas.Idéal pour découvrir le Périgord tout en profitant de moments de détente au calme.Je recommande vivement.

bel emplacement avec un large éventail de possibilités

maison de vacances confortable avec piscine et bel endroit pour séjourner à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Même lorsqu'il pleut, vous pourrez prendre un repas au calme sous le grand toit en surplomb, lire un livre, jouer à un jeu de société, etc.

Agréable séjour

Merci aux propriétaires charmants et à notre écoute. Le gîte est bien situé pour les visites du Périgord noir. Très agréable quand il fait chaud avec son ombrage sans oublier sa piscine. Les enfants et nous, avons passé une belle semaine.

Merci à Yvan qui s'est plié en 4 pour rendre la maison encore plus accessible et a fabriqué en moins de 2 une pente adaptée au fauteuil de ma compagne. Vieille maison où se côtoient rustique et déco moderne. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
