Exceptional property on the edge of VEZERE near LASCAUX

House classified 3 stars preferably dedicated to family stays.
Groups of young people are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding.
We appreciate receiving a little note on you when booking (Reason of stay, composition of the family, age of the children).
6 people maximum children included.

This large bourgeois building from the 18th and 19th century, a former toll house at the time when barges were sailing on the Vézère, was completely renovated in 2016.
It welcomes you on the banks of the river near the caves of LASCAUX and the town of SARLAT.

You will evolve on 2 levels around a charming decoration and countryside chosen with care. We have managed to preserve the authenticity of the place with its original stone floors, its old vegetable garden, a holy water font in the shape of a swallows nest, chimney in every room...

Pleasant accommodation for families with children as well as for people seeking peace and rest in a privileged environment.

- A heated salt water swimming pool open seasonally from May 1 to September 30, depending on weather conditions.
The swimming pool is private ( not shared ) and is reserved for the people of the rental. It is secured with an electric roller shutter. .

The property also offers you a very nice outbuilding with its shower room, wc, summer kitchen and large pool house facing the swimming pool 70m2.
You will have the possibility of having your meals at the edge of the swimming pool.
A ping pong table is at your disposal. Music speaker , board games, Outdoor games.

Private, secure parking for cars. 5 cars .

The property is fully fenced with a private driveway and a portal electric.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our home.

The property is absolutely beautiful, quality furnishings and very nice to stay in..you won't want to leave. The separate pool house is really well equipped and the pool is large and heated saltwater, very nice indeed. We were lucky with good weather so got good use from all the facilities..including the table tennis! Our host Isabelle and her mother Denise made us so welcome and were very helpful explaining how everything worked, how to operate the pool cover etc. By far the best holiday home we have ever stayed in, I fully recommend you stay here! We are hoping to come back again in the future, thanks again to Isabelle and Denise for making our stay so enjoyable.

Amazing property

Wow - this property is stunning. We have just come back from a wonderful weeks holiday. The pool and pool house are fabulous, lots of sun loungers and chairs, ping pong table great fun. Great area for the day and the evening. Lovely and quiet. The house itself is so spacious and has everything you need, very well equipped. Beautiful location on the river surrounded by countryside and chateaux’s. Montignac a short 5 minute drive, lovely town and restaurants. Lots of villages to visit. Supermarket nearby. 100% recommend this place.

Our family had a fantastic time at this Gite. It is very spacious, well equipped, beautifully furnished and clean. The pool and barn area, containing kitchen and shower room, and the outside seating area are second to none. The house is beautiful. The swimming pool is so clean. Everything you need is there. The host is lovely - so helpful. You are near a lovely town, Montignac which has all you need. It was relaxing and has everything. One of the only places I would wavy to go back to.

A Truly Wonderful Stay

A large tastefully furnished and comfortable holiday home. Beautiful soft furnishings, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and a well equiped kitchen. Large well kept grounds overlooking the river. A large stone barn complete with modern kitchen, fridge and cooker, large shower room leading to a privately situated landscaped terrace with a fantastic swimming pool, lawn and play area. Good location, exceptionally clean. The Owners were friendly, supportive and extremely kind. Good location.

Gorgeous holiday cottage

We absolutely loved this place. The weather wasn't great in May so we were lucky to have a beautiful house to wait out the rain. The gite has been renovated with love - and it shows! It had everything we needed (and more) and the pictures and description are accurate. The owner Isabelle was lovely and wanted to take personal responsibility for the weather! She wanted us to have a lovely holiday, and she sorted the one hiccup we had with the pool cover within a few hours. It's in a great location for sight seeing. We recommend highly!

What a beautiful property and huge pool house and pool. Large pool with fully equipped kitchen and huge bathroom. Plenty of room around the pool to get the sun all day and a very large covered area for bbqs etc.. lovely well appointed home with everything you’ll need. Fully equipped eat in kitchen, lounge, loo and upstairs are three good size bedrooms, two bathrooms and separate loo. On the upper level was a further en suite bedroom. Only 3k to the nearest town of Montignac which is lovely. The river Vezere flows through the centre of the town, plenty of restaurants and some lovely shops. Very pretty town and worth a visit. The town of Terrasson is approx 8k away and also worth a visit. Beautiful town, lots of restaurants and shops. Good supermarkets on the outskirts. Huge thanks to Isobelle who was very helpful and made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend this property.

Extraordinaire séjour

Un immense merci à Isabelle, notre hôte, et toute sa famille. L'accueil a été incroyablement sympathique et les conseils dispensés à l'arrivée nous ont été d'une grande aide.Nous avons passé un extraordinaire séjour dans ce havre de paix au bord de la Vézère, cette ancienne maison de famille authentique qui a été rénovée avec un soin extrême et avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires ont su garder l'âme de cette demeure en alliant, avec le plus grand soin, l'ancien et le moderne, ce qui fait qu'on s'y sent tout de suite très bien. Tout était extrêmement propre, hyper bien équipé (aussi bien dans la maison principale que dans la dépendance, car il y a quand même deux cuisines). La grande piscine, idéalement située (sans aucun vis-à-vis) était impeccable et nous avons pu y passer d'excellents moments. Le couvert, qui borde cette dernière, nous offrait également une protection efficace contre le soleil qui tapait déjà fort en cette fin du mois de juin. La région est magnifique et les possibilités de visites sont nombreuses. Le séjour est passé trop vite et nous rêvons déjà d'y retourner. Merci pour tout, Alexandre et Laurence.

Een fantastisch huis aan de Verzere

Bij aankomst zie je het gelijk, de toegangspoort staat al open en je wordt opgewacht door de eigenaresse. De ruimte, afwerking en inrichting van dit huis zijn met zorg gekozen en zeer smaakvol. De buitenkeuken bij het zwembad en de grote overkapping geven je echt het gevoel van het Franse buitenleven. Het mooie zwembad maakt alles helemaal af. Een zeer fijn verblijf gehad met de familie. Herrliche Tage bei Montignac!

Wir haben eine unvergessliche Ferienwoche in einer wunderschönen Ferienunterkunft direkt an der Vezere verbracht. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts: ein Swimmingpool, große Veranda mit Tischtennisplatte. Alles war sehr sauber und die Vermietererinnen Denise et sa maman sehr freundlich. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Nous venons de passer deux semaines de vacances très agréables dans la propriété. Nous avons été accueillis par Denise et Isabelle avec beaucoup de gentillesse dans cette magnifique maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La maison et ses équipements sont véritablement conformes à la description figurant sur Abritel. L'espace piscine est des plus agréables, l'ensemble est très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et disponibles. Une location à recommander pour des vacances véritablement reposantes dans une région magnifique! Merci à Denise et Isabelle pour leur accueil ! Fabulous house, pool and location

We had the most fabulous two weeks in this beautiful house. It is very well appointed, the pool and outside space if perfect, and it is ideally located near to Montignac. As keen cyclists, we were able to explore all the local countryside which is really beautiful. We will be back!

Fantastisch!

Een warm ontvangst bij een verbazingwekkend mooi vakantiehuis. Het woonverblijf blijft in de zomer heerlijk koel, de tuin is prachtig met verschillende fijne plekjes waardoor er altijd schaduw te vinden is. De buitenkeuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en het zwembadgedeelte is ruim opgezet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis is nog fijner dan de omschrijving suggereert.
