We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish—quick, clear, and very helpful, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.The house itself was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect space for our group of six, offering plenty of room to unwind and relax after long days of work.We truly appreciated the comfort and attention to detail, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lakeshore Lodge for a Family Gathering
While the name implies you will be facing water on the lake, this property actually faced a dry cove that supposedly holds water when lake levels are higher. That said, our objective for this stay was to have a place with space for a family reunion, not fishing off the bank of the lake. From that standpoint, this property delivered. There were multiple sleeping options and large rooms plus an outdoor deck to allow group gatherings. Kitchen was very well equipped and the house had two refrigerators and a large pantry to store food and supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Roomy, big, yet cozy. This lake house rental comfortably fit our family of 18. Large deck was our favorite for sure. Location on the lake was excellent easy access to water and local hot spots. We will be renting again in the future.

Great family Thanksgiving retreat
Our family loved the home and we had plenty of room. The staff was friendly. While slightly dated, my family loved the place and we had a great East Texas family reunion there. Hope it’s available our next reunion!
The home needs to be restocked with a few cups for coffee, dishclothes and rags were not available and some rooms didn’t have trash cans and no extra trash liners.
Beautiful property. Fully stocked kitchen and house. Property management was very responsive. Location is close to some beautiful hiking trails which was a nice surprise.
We do a men’s annual weekend retreat for the Nacogdoches Jaycees. This was our first year at this location and we loved it. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and also plenty of space for gathering together as a group. We plan to book this location again!
The location and house and standing were wonderful. Couldn’t ask for better. The cleanliness of the inside of the house left a lot to be desired. There was food crumbs and particles all inside the drawers. Some glasses and plates were dirty so we ended up

I've really debated about making this review. I've stayed in many vacation homes and never given a bad review. However, I must say I was somewhat disappointed in some things. First off, we rented this house so we could be right on the lake. When we arrived, there was no water in the lake due to them working on the dam. We had to walk probably 200 yards to get to the lake. I totally understand it not being y'all's fault they were working on the dam, but you're renting the house as waterfront, so you should let your guest know before renting. Starter items, we had to dig under the cabinet just to find one dishwasher pod, and you only get one trash bag. The carpet in the living room is very stained and needs to be cleaned. The walkway to the front door was covered in pine needles when we arrived. Down at the firepit there were beer cans laying on the ground. The firepit needs to be replaced it's completely rusted out there's no bottom to it just a ring around the top. The house is very dated but that's okay other than that it was pretty clean. I just think for what you are charging your guest to stay there you should do a lot better.
We enjoyed the large living room and deck. The rooms were spread out so it gave everyone privacy.
We had a problem with the fridge and I texted and they were there within the hour and it was replaced in hours. That was above and beyond what we expected. We were very grateful
Check in was a breeze. The house was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed.
We hope to come back next year.
We have a group of friends that come down to Rayburn once a year. Been doing our tourney for 11 years and this was by far the best home we’ve stayed at, hands down. We will definitely be booking again for next year. We appreciate it very
Renting the property was easy! The realty company I communicated with responded the next day to any questions and information I needed. The place was spacious for the 14 of us, very clean, and the kitchen was furnished with a lot of good kitchenware. We really enjoyed the fire pits and cornhole game at the property. The updated areas in the house were very nice. Check out was simple. We all have great time and plan to come back!
