About the host
Hosted by Glenda Moser
My Husband Jay and I are both business owners. I own a cleaning company, and he a construction company. We love the privacy and peace of this small town. He was born and raised in North Dakota and I chose to move here with him from Colorado many years ago.
We bought our house several years ago and love the country setting of it’s location. We are a hunting, fishing and outdoor family and this is the perfect territory to do it all in!
Some of our favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing, and ice fishing. It is also home to countless water sport opportunities. So much available, within minutes for those sports! I also love to golf and he loves his Harley! We work hard and play hard and absolutely love our family!
I really enjoy cooking and it was important to me to provide a fully stocked kitchen for any cook that shares that passion! There are also countless small appliances to choose from, and I invite those that are interested to snoop around!
Why they chose this property
I was in love with the property across from us, and chose to buy it when my good friend and neighbor decided to sell. She and her ancestors had owned it for many generations. She hated to leave it and had a very hard time coming to the decision. I promised her we would take great care to honor the family history and memories she has of this property, and that is exactly what we have done.
After completely renovating it and improving the yard/grounds, we were ready to fully furnish it and invite others to share in its relaxing comfort! We love meeting people and simply want the best vacation possible for anyone that chooses our vacation home. I feel we are truly blessed to be able to to just that!
I love to cook and it was important to me to have a fully stocked kitchen for any cook that shares that passion! There are also many small appliances to choose from, and I invite those that are interested to snoop around!
What makes this property unique
I love the serenity of the property. It has always held a peaceful and graceful aura for me. There’s nothing like sitting outside under a shade tree and listening to the birds and the wind, with not much else to hinder the sound. It’s hard to find that quality in most places these days. A good bonfire and a beverage don’t go to waste around here!
