This was a great place to stay. A little off the beaten path but great location. House is great.

Liked: Communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Entire home was filthy (cobwebs everywhere, dead bugs in kitchen drawers, dead bugs in keurig coffee pot, dead bugs in overhead light fixture, ceiling fans covered in dust, trash under sofa, bathroom shower head not working properly, small shower stall in one bathroom, lamp globes dirty, outside entrance of home area very dirty). No views just trees. I wonder if anyone has cleaned recently.
The property was located in a beautiful neighborhood and was exactly as described. Well appointed with everything one would need and then some. The home's surroundings are so peaceful... We were in the area for a WCU event and the proximity to campus was great too.
The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate some unexpected circumstances and were and absolute pleasure to deal with!
It was the perfect distance from WCU! Everything from start to finish was amazing. It felt like a home away from home. I'd recommend to anyone for a nice quiet place to stay yet still be close to town. It's at the top of my list for future visits to my daughter at college!!
This cabin was great for our family this summer. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The location was a good base for our hiking and waterfall adventures. We had a wonderful time!
We enjoyed our too brief stay. The property was nice and everything you needed was stocked. could not get over amount of dishes, utensils etc.... very clean and homey.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place to escape with your family and sit around a campfire while looking at the amazing view of the mountains then this the place for you. The house has everything you need for great trip. Owner has thought of everything you could possibly need.
We loved staying here. We wanted to be in the area on our daughter's fall break because she had to be back at school at the end of the week. It was a fantastic place, had all we needed, was dog-friendly, close to places we wanted to do day trips to, like Gatlinburg and Bryson City. The hosts were outstanding. We had a pet who we were not planning to bring with us have a medical situation where we could not leave them at home. We reached out to hosts, days before check-in and they allowed us to bring the additional pet. We were able to keep him in a pet enclosure where he could see us, and be with us, but was contained in the enclosed area. We plan to stay with hosts again in the future. Thank you ladies for your outstanding hospitality and a wonderful home to stay in last!!!!
My sibling retreat was wonderful. Originally it was all three of us however my sister and my brother ended up in the hospital and didn't get to come. We made the best of the trip and enjoyed our sister time. Hopefully next Sibling trip it will be all three of us. We loved the home and found the accommodations to be great.
I rented this place for a fly fishing trip. The place was very clean, conveniently located, and the host was very friendly. Would rent again. Thanks Brenda !
Truly was a perfect cabin for are family needs! Everything was clean, tidy and organized. The property was secluded that included a nice fire pit. Communication with owners was seamless, prompt and friendly. We hope someday to stay there again!!
Great stay for the value. We needed 3 bedrooms and would have needed at least 2 hotel rooms and then would not have had a living room and outdoor area to gather. I would have changed nothing about our stay. The owners answer any questions you might have in seconds. Thank you.
Wonderful place in Sylva, cozy, communicative and accommodating hosts, all-round great place to stay for family gatherings. Note that one bedroom has about a queen sized bed, the other 2 beds are about twin sized, and the Internet speed is less than 1 Mbps.
We enjoyed our stay and visit with our son at Western Carolina University and Cherekee Casino. Place was clean, homey and comfortable. A couple of things to note: If you are arriving at night, read directions carefully as road is not well lit at all and when you make the turn onto path to get to place the house number is very small and you feel like you are pulling into someone else’s yard. There DEFINITELY should be a larger, reflective house number with a reflective arrow pointing to direction of home so that you know to keep going and that you are going in the right location. Also, internet on road to get there wasn’t great at all and was hard to get gp/phone/text working. We tried to reach owners but they didn’t pick up but eventually figured it out ourselves. Other than that, it was all good.
