"Decked Out" - 80ft from house to water, gorgeous view, near Duncan Bridge

A getaway with family and friends to Decked Out on Smith lake will not be a long drive from anywhere. We are conveniently located between Arley and Duncan Bridge Marina on main channel close to all things to make this a fun and enjoyable trip.

Our house sleeps 16 people, upstairs offers 3 bedrooms & 1 bath, main level has on suite Master and a 1/2 bath, kitchen, dining , living and laundry, downstairs offers 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, 1 full bath, game room has pool table, pingpong, foosball and other games besides a great movie-watching area, microwave and fridge are provided for your convenience.
Our 3 level decks offer many areas for seating , you can cook on the grill out side chatting with friends while enjoying the gorgeous view of Bankhead National Forest across the lake.

Feel free to bring your own boat and pwc because our boat lift, JetSki ports plus paddle boats are there for you to use. boat rentals can also be found at near by marina. you need to use Duncan Bridge Marina to lunch boat during the months of Nov. to Jan. due to low water level around the dock.

We loved it! There were things for the kids to do separately from the adults. I would have rated everything excellent but the A/c went out of 2 bedrooms the first day and folks had to sleep on the couches downstairs but we were compensated and the A/c was being replaced on the day we left. Also the gas grill wouldn’t heat up. But the views and the dock were great. The host was great at keeping us informed on everything . I can see us coming back in the future.

We found Decked Out just as described on VRBO. It is a gorgeous home with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed the deck space and the fire pit area. Plenty of space in the home. The teenagers and adults loved the game room area. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes and the beds were very comfortable. Great place to stay with family and friends.

Great property for family

This lake house is awesome in all ways for your family. Quiet, clean, fun and the host was available for any questions we had. The double deck dock was a hit with the kids as well as the paddle boards provided. Lots of life vests of all sizes also provided. I will stay here every time I visit Smith Lake.

Amazing house and location

It was a beautiful house and the lake was wonderful. So clean and inviting. Boat rentals were easy and we spent a lot of time on the lake and jumping off the double decker dock. Downstairs was was a perfect place for our teenagers to have their own retreat.

Great Place for a Family Summer Vacation

This place was great for our family vacation. The house is wonderful, and the new decks and the double decker dock are truly outstanding. And the lake was great, it was deep, clean and during the week, it had very little boat traffic.

I came to the State 30 years ago, happily married to my hubby for 24 years with 2 wonderful children. Both my husband and I enjoy fishing and other out door activities, our kids both played sports. We have been working very hard our whole lives and buying a lake front property was our goal for retirement.
We bought the house in 2017, in the last 3 years this lake property has been our main focus. We replaced some furnitures, swapped out mattresses, decors, updated all kitchen appliances, put rip rap rocks on shoreline, you will see new circular concrete driveway, and we just finished the brand new 3 level decks to provide our family and our renters the best we can offer on Smith Lake. This lake is the 2nd cleanest lake in the nation. It is a busy lake but we do not have to worry about boat traffic getting too close to where we are at, sitting on the shaded deck looking at the lake for some morning coffee, going fishing, taking a boat ride to see new houses getting built are our favorite things to do besides watching and pulling our kids doing water sports, Oh, and sitting on the dock watching sunset is my most favorite thing to do at that time of the day. I hope you and yours will soak everything in like we do and more to make a lot of great memories for years to come.

Why they chose this property

When we decided to buy a lake house 7 years ago, we wanted to be on a clean lake, convenient to restaurants, grocery store and hospital and marina with plenty of living space, and very few steps to the shoreline, in front of big water with a gorgeous view, and this was what we found.
With where it is located, you do not need to go far for anything.
Because this is an owner closely held property, We have quick services on any issues coming up, most of the time with same day services.

What makes this property unique

My husband and I are business owners and we pay a lot attention to details of what we do to put quality and value first. when you stay at Decked Out you are not far from anywhere due to its location. we provide a game room to keep all ages entertained. you do not have to worry about shade on the top deck because you will be surrounded by trees and shade anytime of the day like you are in a tree house. There are somethings about staying at a lake house / Decked Out: it helps to relax and clear my mind; to see more beauty in life; pay attention to better side of people and things. I can even find peace in the storm right here at the lake... Life is better at the lake, especially at Decked Out.
