The Inn was perfect for our family reunion. There was plenty of sleeping options and a large living room area for group activities. The Foosball table on the front porch was a hit with the kids along with the pickleball/tennis court and playground. The only downside was no laundry facilities which made it was inconvenient for families to have to go downtown for extended periods of time to wash clothing. Also, the pool was expensive at 10 a person.
I rented this Inn for our senior adult Sunday School Class, the JOY Class. There was 22 of us total and everything about this in was exactly as described and met our needs perfectly. I had multiple comments from our members as to how clean the property was and how beautifully unique the property was. From the time we checked in, until (and after) we departed, our host, Ted, was amazing. He was warm, genuine, yet only as involved as we needed him to be, and when we needed him, he was on the spot, professional, and caring in every way. The kitchen had everything we needed for a large group. The very large living room/gathering room was large enough to accommodate all of us for an evening of singing and sharing. However, our biggest brag was the huge front porch and the beautiful view. On our weekend, one of our senior members had to be taken to the emergency room and Ted took care of contacting the EMS for us and helped us navigate our situation in a quick and successful way. The hospital was only five minutes from the property and the EMS employees were extremely compassionate and well trained. Ted even followed up at the hospital. I can't begin to say all of the positive things there are about this particular property and hosts, but I can assure you, we will return for future church and family events. So far, it is my favorite VRBO in or near the Smokies. If you are looking for a slower pace than Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg for a group, check this place out.
Host was great and very communicative! They are there for you when you need them and very accommodating for large parties. The yard was beautiful and well taken care of, and the furniture is moveable to accommodate how you may need it. Everything worked well and was just a great time

We recently held a private ceremony at the Inn with a large number friends and family attending that lasted several days. We could not have asked for a better venue. It was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and well set up. Attendees fell in love with it. The location feels remote yet has plenty of services near by. The hosts were kind, responsive, and accommodating. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

We had a family gathering with over 30 people and this house was perfect for us. Lots of room and plenty of activities for everyone. Owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved staying here.
We enjoyed getting to meet the Inn Keepers, the home was beautiful and the location was perfect. The bathrooms are a little dated and small in some of the room but all were working and met our needs.
Property was well kept, clean, well organized and has a very nostalgic feel. Wish the pool and other amenities would have been available to us, but other than that the stay was amazing
This was the perfect venue to host a songwriters' reunion. The Lagoalinda Inn is SPOTLESSLY CLEAR, well-maintained and restored where needed. The interior design and decor is very nicely done. Everyone loved their room and bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group. The outdoor grill came in handy for a burgers-and-hot-dogs lunch. The hosts (Ted and Ruth) were over-the-top terrific. Great communications and lots of small touches that helped to make our stay such a success. Ted provided a nice history of the area and of the Inn.
This was a great place for a 30 person wedding. Ted and Ruth were great. The location is perfect for all ages. There is a pool, lake and plenty of outdoor activities. We loved playing pickle ball. The house was very clean and had plenty of bathrooms. We can not recommend it enough.
The property was perfect for our community group weekend retreat. We had a range of ages from 4 to 55 and all enjoyed! Sweet house and community that afforded us more than enough space and activities.
We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and had a lot of personality. Being across from the park and the lake made for an amazing weekend with lots of fun things to do as a group. Everyone in our party talked about wanting to come back again!
It was an amazing experience. The place was well stocked with everything you need for the kitchen, bedrooms and outside activities. The front porch was our favorite spot to gather together. The common areas worked well for our big family. The check out process was simple and quick. We would book here again.
We loved the location on the lake and all the activities available across the street. Also enjoyed all the bedrooms with their own bathrooms! The kitchen is a little small if you're going to cook for 30+ people. We enjoyed our stay!
It was really nice place to stay . Gave us enough room to be able build family time but space if needed it. Would had been nice to have list of activities around the community that was given from manager n pamphlet left in Inn before we arrived!
The Lagoalinda Inn was the perfect spot for our retreat for our college students. They had the space they needed to do their sessions in the common space and plenty of room to spread out for sleeping arrangements. The location was awesome with activities right across the street and excursions and sights within walking distance! My only note is that the kitchen is a little small for cooking for 50 people— but doable with strategy! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
