Modern Distinction in South Palm Springs integrates nature with its large disappearing sliding wall of glass that's not found in many homes. The Palm Springs desert area promises visitors abundant sunshine, low humidity, dramatic desert and mountain scenery, and a variety of activities your family will enjoy. The neighborhood is just a quick ride share to Downtown Palm Springs shopping and dining, and if the kids have come along, they will love heading over to Wet 'n' Wild Palm Springs! Though there are unlimited attractions in the city, the outdoorsy will be delighted to know that a plethora of hiking trails and scenic outlooks are scattered on the foothills of Mount San Jacinto. A Pack-N-Play is provided in the home for family-friendly convenience.

Volume ceilings give this home a light and open feel in the great room, expansive bedrooms, and generous walk-in closets. The open floor plan, wood tile floors throughout the living area, gas fireplace, private pool and deck, and many upscale appointments make it an environment that begs to be enjoyed and shared with friends and family. The property takes advantage of modern innovations with energy-efficient appliances, top-grade wall and ceiling insulation, an energy-efficient pool, and the use of eco-friendly materials and techniques. You'll love the outside oasis of this Palm Springs vacation home, as the sparkling pool and spa invite you to enjoy the reliable year-round sunshine and breathtaking mountain views while you relax on a lounge chair or pool float. Additional outside amenities include two misting rock features on the west side of the pool, a mobile standing mister, and a remote-controlled awning system with built-in misters to help cool off on those extra hot days. Or kick back on the luxurious outdoor leather couch for a great place to have your morning coffee as the sun rises against the mountains.

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

1 day notification is required in order to heat the pool spa. A fee of USD 72 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool spa heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Home, Great location
Our family had such a great time in this home. The house was perfect for our two girls with their bedrooms on one side and another bedroom for us on the other side with general living space between them. The open living/dining/kitchen area that overlooks the pool was ideal for us as we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi as much as we could. The gorgeous landscaping allowed for privacy and really added to the ambiance. Super close to dining and shopping. GREAT PLACE!!

Great House / Bad Management Company
The house itself is beautiful, well designed, and better than the pictures. The house and location were perfect for us. The layout was ideal for our family of all adults. 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms plus a half bath in the living room. The main downside of this house is the management company - Vacasa. I would not rent a house managed by them again. Other reviews mention privacy as an issue - the house right behind can see the entire back yard. The ground level is higher on their side, so the fence doesnt really make a difference since they are standing 3 feet highter on their side. This didnt bother us, but I can see how it would bother some if they were trying to have a relaxing/private weekend. When we arrived it was pretty warm out and the thermostat was locked. I'm not sure if this is how it always is - but we needed to get ready for a wedding so it was unfortunate to not be able to control the AC. Overall I think this house is great! They just need a new property management company.

This was a great house! Beautiful inside and well stocked. The backyard was great as well. Owners have done a great job of decorating, stocking and maintaining this property. We would come back again.

Well appointed house but it's now peek mountain views and no privacy
The house is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, and is fairly new home. It's located in a residential area close to a public gulf course and walking trails. The kitchen, baths, entire house was immaculate. Not a single crumb in the kitchen, and everything from the coffee pot, stove, fridge, dishes, pots and pans, and oven were perfectly clean. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 stars because of the view and lack of privacy. Right from the start, when I checked in, I contacted Vacasa. Images on the website show panoramic mountain views from the house, but the owner didn't update images to show the two homes built in the back obstructing the views and there's no privacy. Vacasa issued a small credit for the inconvenience. The amount I paid for this house, as is, was excessive, especially after I found out that the identical house next door was renting for half the price with another vacation rental company.
