About this property

House By The Creek !!

This little house is absolutely adorable. It has one bedroom with two queen sizes beds, a quaint little kitchen and comfortable living room. The front deck is perfect for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. The firepit by the creek has been a favorite for guests. The property provides full kitchen, linens, bedding, towels, washer/dryer, firepit, covered porch, deck, firepit, and large area for kids to run and play. We provide a small amount of firewood with your stay but if you need more we have bundles available to purchase. The firepit is a great place to hangout next to the creek and enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature.

We offer free Wifi, cell service, Hulu, netflix and many other conveniences.

If you are traveling to beautiful Newton County for kayaking, 4-wheeling or any of the other awesome opportunities here, we have plenty of parking available for trailers. If you are looking to add extra people to your group please let us know. We have room for self contained campers, tents and hammocks.

Being located right off Highway 7 makes it easy to go the 2.5 miles South to access the beautiful Buffalo River or North 4 miles to visit Mystic Caverns. Branson is an easy 45 minute drive.

We live on the other side of this property but you will hardly see or hear us.

Unplugged Family Weekend

This was a great spot to stay for a weekend of outdoor adventure with our kids. The property is well maintained and the location was great. Our highlight was making s'mores by the creek.

We had a wonderful stay! The rental was an excellent value, with plenty of room for all four of us. It was close to all the spots we wanted to explore and made a simple, easy home base for short breaks throughout the day. The location was perfect as it was just 15 minutes from everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. We plan to return.

Beautiful and accessible location.

If you love water, small creeks to enjoy, yet ideally located minutes away from the Buffalo River and all of the beautiful hiking. This place is legit. Kind and attentive hosts. Great location convenience, if you don't need too much! Peaceful and fun!

Cabin by the creek lives up to the name! Nice clean cabin with all amenities provided. Our host (Stacy) was most welcoming and helpful with a couple of items, Thank you Stacy. Close to several hiking trailheads and Buffalo River.!!

Cozy stay

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway at House by the Creek. It was quite cozy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. We drove to Jasper for dinner at Ozark Cafe and hiked the Hemmed-in-Hollow falls the next day. We stopped at JJ’s Grill for a quick bite after the hike. The house was quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

Great little country house in a great location.

We spent two nights here in order to paddle the Buffalo. It was a great location close to one of our favorite little towns- Jasper. Stacey was very nice and gave me her cell number in case we needed anything (we didn't) We loved that we could park our little teardrop camper here while we explored. Not sure what kind of mattress was on the bed, but it was SO COMFORTABLE! Though we didn't get to utilize it, the fire pit area right by the babbling creek was lovely. We also enjoyed the neighbor's goats and chickens- reminded us of home...

Play hooky and enjoy the quiet

Located close to quiet places in AR—and a restorative place all its own. We were pleased to find an open mic in Jasper and near Steel Creek, we almost reached Balanced Rock except downed trees blocked the hiking path 3/4 of the way on the 1 mile path to it. Spacious and well-equipped, especially hot dog skewers for roasting over fire. Responsive, helpful and understanding hosts. Cabin @ Creekside is a great location to play hooky.

We enjoyed our stay at Creekside. The accommodations were as indicated and comfortable. The only thing, We thought the creek was closer to the house and it was a little more secluded. We loved watching the neighbors goats tho. The host lives onsite, but met us on arrival and introduced herself. Very nice owner.

Greetings, we are new to Arkansas and absolutely love this beautiful state. My husband and I purchased this beautiful home in August of 2019. We moved here from Michigan and Alaska before that. Our 20, 8 and 7 year old children have absolutely loved the state and transition to move here!! We also have 5 dogs that live here with us!

Why they chose this property

This property stood out to us immediately. Over the 2019 summer we looked at hundreds of houses in many, many states. This beautiful property was the 2nd one we looked at. It has been absolutely perfect for us and we hope that you will enjoy it also!!
