Spacious luxury 3 level, 4 BR townhouse in the Manitou Riverhouse in center of Telluride, Ski in, and less than 100 yards from Chair 8. Incredible quiet location but only 1 block from Ski Gondola (east), two blocks from Town Center (North), and 3 blocks from Town Park (west).

Full renovated unit featuring a private entry + ski mudroom. Unique floor plan offering approx 2000 sq feet of living space on the side of the best ski mountain in the world. It is 3 floors, 4 bedrooms (1 of the bedrooms is an open configuration which can be a bedroom (2 twins or King) or additional kids family room).

Unit has private outdoor deck and access to hot tub (shared).

Main floor features spacious living room, deck, dining room with a gourmet kitchen with commercial range/grill and beautiful woodwork and cabinets. First floor has 1/2 bath. Second floor has 3 bedrooms (BR1 - Queen with private bath, BR2 - Large Room with Bunkbeds and Queen, BR3 - Living Area with a Futon and Daybed (King or 2 twins). These both share a full bath. Third floor MBR with King and great bathroom. All baths are slate and tumbled marble. Radiant heat in all floors.

Deck overlooks town, chair 8 and Gondola. 360 views all over the unit. Location, Location and Location!

All bedrooms offer views of the ski mountain and/or town. This unit has its own private entrance and mudroom, tree-filled deck area for privacy and was renovated top to bottom.

Located in the heart of the historic town center, an easy stroll to restaurants, shopping, hiking trails, Telluride Town Park, and the new Telluride library. Only one block away, the Telluride/Mountain Village gondola provides direct access to all winter and summer activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, golfing, and biking.

Perfect for 2 families and kids, or 3 couples. Ideal is 6 adults but could sleep up to 12 with 6 kids.

Wonderful Stay

Great stay in Telluride. The owner communication was terrific. Our Internet wasn’t working and he got on the phone and had it fixed by the provider immediately. Always very prompt with any questions we had. Really great! The walk was short to the gondola and you could also easily walk to the market and restaurants. We would stay again! Great host!

The place is great and the location is fantastic for skiers. We were unable to use the two parking spots included with our stay. We spent hours dealing with parking and finding alternative solutions. Additionally, there's no road directly to the condominium so you have to haul all your stuff about 100 yards from the closest your car can get.

LOT OF STEPS/STAIRS... from the street parking, and accross the river bridge, to the condo, if you can find a spot! Especially challenging if you have a lot of luggage, gear and supplies to unload. After traversing the bridge, the weaving around the front of the complex, those last 3 flights of steep metal stairs to the front door are a doozy! I've stayed at a lot of places in Telluride, but this one was definitely a lot more challenging. But it is close to town, the park and the river trail. The place was clean and comfortable. Hosts were responsive. Grocery market, liquor store, restaurants and gondola station closeby. Great showers - powerful and hot. No AC, so can be a little warm and stuffy on the 2nd and 3rd floors (even when cold outside). Would be nice if the bedrooms had ceiling fans to provide airflow. Luckily we found a little fan in our closet.

Good Location for Skiing

Location was close to lift/Gondola, maybe a 5 minute walk. There were gorgeous views from the numerous windows. It was essentially on the edge of town with several great restaurants within .2-.3 mile walk. Property was well kept and overall worked well for our group of guys 60 who have been doing these trips for over 35 years. A few negatives were the sheer number of steps...around 60 from the parking to the Master Bedroom (good workout!), parking is in a surface lot across the river, there is not fireplace and the hot tub was broken the entire week we were there. In over 35 years this was the first time we ever went without a hot tub. We would not have considered this property without a hot tub and no reduction in the price was offered.

All great with property except difficultly getting access original code did not work and an infestation of small flies in the master bath last 2 days Not a big deal as they mostly on the ceiling but hundreds dead in the toilet the last 2 mornings But overall we liked the unit and would consider renting next year
