This is the 6th time staying at this amazing property. Each time is just as spectacular as the last. It is one of our most relaxing vacations we take as family. The property is maintained beautifully. Air conditioning was added a few years back and that is a very nice addition for those warm nights. We look forward to returning next year.

Our family loved this house and the location right on the St. Lawrence River. We enjoyed swimming and fishing. We visited nearby Clayton for great restaurants that our host recommended which were all excellent. We rented Kayaks one day; we took a boat tour to Boldt Castle, we walked around Alexandria Bay.The property was spacious outside and has a wonderful deck with the view of the river which we enjoyed in the evening; one night we made Smores at the firepit. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware and cookware; we did cook at the house a few nights, and used the grill as well.I would love to return someday!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property on Wellesley Island, just minutes from the Thousand Islands Bridge. The location on the St. Lawrence River is perfect, with breathtaking views that we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The dock was a huge highlight—we spent hours enjoying the river, and it was the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery.Communication with the host was outstanding from start to finish. They were responsive, welcoming, and made the entire experience seamless. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible river views, excellent amenities, and a fantastic location in the Thousand Islands, this property is hard to beat. We couldn’t have asked for a better family vacation and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Another Great Stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it is stunning. The views of the water, bridge, ships and boats are spectacular. The house itself is very comfortable and clean and has everything you need from washer/dryer to dishwasher. The owner communicates quickly as well which is really nice. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to book again next August.

Beautiful property with beautiful view

Fourth time staying at this property. It’s a slice of heaven. Home is so well equipped and the location is perfect by boat. Alexandria Bay & Clayton are both very close by boat and car. The view of the 1000’s bridge is spectacular from the property. Thank you for opening your home to our family.

Incredible Views

This is an awesome place to vacation. The house is quant and relaxing. Amazing large porch to enjoy the water and boat views, with comfortable chairs and table top fire pit. Outside side screened porch is beautiful and great place for dinner and relaxation. Close proximity to downtown Clayton. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous family vacation

The home was particularly clean, well-stocked, and well-appointed! The amenities, screened porch, deck, dock, and open layout are wonderful for a family vacation. Especially enjoyed the quiet cove setting with views of the bridge and cargo ships. The kids loved playing ball in the yard and splashing in the water. (Swimming is an option but was still a little chilly). The host is always available for questions and concerns. Hope to return!

Wonderful house on the river

Our family has spent a lot of time up on the St. Lawrence River and this property has to be one of our favorite locations so far. It was our first time staying on Wellesley Island and hopefully not the last. The house was very clean & updated, with all the amenities we needed for the week. The yard was large and private. The fact that it was pet friendly was a definite plus for us as our daughter's German Shepherd had just as much fun as we did. Would not think twice about renting here again.

Gary, thanks again so much for staying and for your kind words. FYI, we were able to locate some “Pet Gates/baby gates“ for the area on the deck that you described. Seems to work pretty well at least as a deterrent for confining pets when one wants to. Thanks again, Michael

Beautiful home and property!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home last week. From the moment we arrived the property, we were impressed, not only by the well manicured property, but the cleanliness of the property and the home. The home's decor is very welcoming. We felt right at home. Our sons & grandson enjoyed fishing on the dock and mostly relaxing in the beautiful home and on the property. We do have one comment and one mishap. The comment is the home is a great place under normal circumstances where you wouldn’t need A.C., but when the air is still, as it was the last two days/nights, it was getting very warm in the house. The one mishap was I accidentally spilled ½ glass of Rose wine on the living room carpet. We tried to clean it the best we could, but please, if it’s not to the owner's satisfaction, we will be happy to reimburse him for the cleaning. It honestly doesn’t look bad, but the owner needs to be satisfied that it is clean enough. We loved renting this beautiful home and property on the St. Lawrence River. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

Amazing TI Vacation

My extended family and I stayed in this beautiful house for a week. Everything in the house was exactly as pictured and described. The location was even more beautiful than expected! Coffee on the deck was a wonderful way to start the day and a book on the screened-in porch was a relaxing way to end it. We can't wait to return next summer!

Vacation Perfection

We've been renting in the area for over 20 years and we are always looking for the same things - a great location with magnificent views, a spot to swim with clear waters, a functional dock for our boat and property, a little privacy and finally, a per-friendly location. This rental hits all the marks and then some. The house is spacious and beautiful, comfortably decorated. The photos DO NOT do it justice. The deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails with plenty of comfortable seating. We loved the screened in porch for our BBQ's dinners. My sister-in-law is not outdoorsy and she loved the TV with Netflix, prime video, Hulu and more. The piece of property on the river is secluded. We never saw our neighbors. This is the home run of rentals - truly PERFECTION.

Beautiful Home on the River!

We spent one week at this property and loved every moment. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and is as described in the overview. It accommodated our party of 6 and 2 dogs very well. The outdoor space is the best with all the porches, screened porch, yard and docks. We rented a boat and having a dock on the property was very convenient. The home owner was very gracious and checked in on us to make sure everything was as expected. We plan to go back!

Family getaway

Our family had a great 5 night stay at Michael and Laura's Brown's bay cottage. The house was clean and very well taken care of. We especially enjoyed the option of entertaining on the deck or the screened in porch with an amazing view of the TI Bridge and the main shipping channel of the St. Lawrence river. We leave been renting in the Clayton/Alex bay area for many years and this cottage is easily our favorite!
