New Cozy Up North Cottage Getaway - in beautiful Lakes of the North

This new(just built in 4th quarter of 2020) and modern up north cottage paradise is the perfect place for a serene secluded up-north cottage getaway! Enjoy the great views and long scenic walks throughout the Lakes of the North property around the lakes and trails. To end your night, curl up on a cozy couch while looking out the back sliding door at the woods and an occasional deer or other beautiful wildlife. If you still like having fun, enjoy a bonfire out back or some BBQ'in on a new grill and picnic table patio. Located in ‘ The Lakes of the North’ resort. Guests are welcome to enjoy the many amenities of the Lakes of the North Community. Enjoy all the amenities this private property has to offer; private clubhouse with heated pool, water slide, & jacuzzi(there's a small daily fee upon entering for guests to use this facility), 2 private lakes w/ beach for swimming & fishing, public golf course and restaurant, a small airport, easy access to snowmobile trails, hiking & ATV ORV trails, Settings Bar/Restaurant & Deer Run Golf Course & Pro Shop. Wifi included. New Washer / Dyer located inside our cottage for you to use as well. The cottage is fully furnished!

There’s also a hard copy of our Welcome Guide(wifi passwords, maps, menus, exiting instructions,…) located under the TV). We hope you enjoyed your stay at our beautiful cottage!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Prior to leaving - strip bed sheets & pillow cases, place in white laundry baskets located in the closets in each bedroom.
Also, place kitchen and bath towels in one of these laundry baskets as well. thank you!
There is a black dish rack located under kitchen sink. Please wash any used dishes when you leave & you can leave on counter drying in the dish rack

Nice cozy cabin

Very well organized cabin with board games, wood campfire and grill. Kitchen was well planned with all the daily necessities and WiFi was also good. We enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin.

This cottage was great! Chris and Lynn were great hosts as well, they really went the extra mile to make it a good experience. My wife and I took our two kids under 5 and it was perfect. Had privacy, that up north feeling, but access to a pool way better than any hotel and was only 15 minutes from Gaylord. We would absolutely stay again.

Nice getaway!

This cabin was great for our family of four. We were able to come back to the cabin and relax after day trips exploring Michigan. The lakes in the area we nice and quiet and our kids enjoyed swimming and fishing.

Snow mobile trip

Went at the perfect time with all the snow. My daughter and husband enjoyed the trails. In the evenings, took my daughter to the club house to swim. This is our 3rd time at this rental.

Great Michigan Cottage

Beautiful secluded cabin

Beautiful cabin in lakes of the north. Close enough to get to things in northern Michigan! Great place to come back to every night with a secluded property and awesome campfires! Would love to come back in the winter to enjoy all of the snowmobile trails in the community! Highly recommend this place!

Get away to a new cozy cottage with wooded views, no neighbors adjacent to this property, enjoy all that northern Michigan has to offer. While staying at this property you have access to the Lakes of the North amenities as a members guest. This includes access to 2 private lakes, a ton of snowmobile/ORV trails, Winter Sports area, seasonal riding stable, golf course, Settings Restaurant & Bar, ...to only list a few! Settings Restaurant, located within Lakes of the North Community, in the winter months usually has an outdoor bonfire firepit area for you to enjoy! Fun to watch all the sleds and Side-by-Sides coming and going! As well as to meet some great prople around a bonfire! As well as a few miles down the road; Porter Haus , and several others in the area as well.
