Get away to a delightful house and private garden with hot tub with an ocean view near Todos Santos, Baja California. Todos Santos is a culturally-rich community with many wonderful restaurants, art galleries, shops and friendly people. A swimming beach is a short car-drive away, and miles of beach, suitable for exhilarating walks, sunbathing, beach-combing and horseback riding, are a short five minute walk from the front door.
Casa Jacinta is comfortable and homey. The house, built by a local architect, is a mix of modern and traditional Mexican styles. It features an artisan palapa that spans the living room and loft, first and second story outdoor living spaces, and is pleasant year-round due to ocean breezes and lots of desert light.
We strongly recommend that you rent a car with good clearance when staying at Casa Jacinta. The house is two miles north of town, and swimming beaches, some off rutted dirt roads, are a short drive south of town. There is limited public transportation in the area. Casa Jacinta is owned by three women friends, Jane, Joanne and Carol. We often refer to our house as La Casa de Las Tres Mujeres. You will see that theme in some of Casa Jacinta's art. This picture, Carol in the center and Joanne on the right with another California friend, was taken in Baja on our first drive down the peninsula.
Why they chose this property
Jane & Carol both fell in love with Todos Santos, the Baja desert that kisses the Pacific, and especially this charming house on our first visit to Todos Santos. It was a spontaneous affair with a special place that continues into the new decade. Joanne joined us as a third partner a few months later.
