The quintessential lake house. My family enjoyed their stay. The house has beautiful views of the lake, Owner provides plenty of paddle boards and kayaks so you can enjoy the lake. We would definitely rent again.

Our family absolutely loved this place. The view of the lake is unparalleled. Communication with the host was seamless. All of the small design details — the Anderson windows, the Weber grill, the record player, the high quality stainless steel non teflon pots, the beautiful whisky/water glasses, the thoughtful blackout curtains that are easy to remove for a view or easy to put up when it’s too hot, the stocked shed with life vests, tubes, and kayaks, the hot tub, the welcome guide, the stocked game room — the thoughtfulness, time, and investment is apparent. This is a gem, and we’ll be sure to return. You won’t find a better spot in the Poconos.

Host was amazing and great to work with. We spent two nights and had a lovely time. Great fishing right off the dock. The hot tub was a great addition. The house is well stocked with all your needs. The property is right next door to the sandy beach which also was a nice addition.

Wonderful lake retreat! We loved our week at Three Little Birds. The location next to the beach is ideal, the private dock and kayaks were perfect and paddling around deer lake is the perfect way to spend a quiet morning. We loved listening to the (excellent) record collection and enjoyed showing our kids the VHS movies. Arcade games are a bonus.When we book again I'll probably bring a mattress topper - we really struggled getting comfortable on the upstairs bed. That being said, I'm still giving it 5 stars. Communicative owner and great little getaway! We will be back.

Check in process was smooth; host communicated very well. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need. The view was so stunning I could have looked out the windows all day. My pup and I enjoyed sitting on the dock, admiring the water, and hubs and I took a turn out on the lake with the canoe (and there's every kind of water toy you'd want - stand up paddleboards, kayaks, etc.) Lots of other amenities in this community as well, including the beach right next door.

Great location on a lake. We appreciated that they had stocked firewood. Our kids loved playing on the frozen lake. The kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed playing some of the games in the evenings, and the Alexa was a nice touch for access to music.

The host was extremely welcoming and communicative throughout the whole process. It made for a seamless arrival day, stay, and departure as well. The house was truly made to feel like a home and the community was extremely quaint as well. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the host's communication and detail-oriented procedures to make sure every element of the trip was successful and enjoyable too. I would love to stay in the house again if given the opportunity! From the host, to the house, to the amenities, and much more, it was an amazing stay all-around!

Family vacation

The house was lovely and excellently situated on Deer Lake. It was perfect for our family gathering. We enjoyed watching the herons, osprey, and eagles on the lake.
