This house is amazing. It’s peaceful and has all the amenities one could hope for. The pool and hot tub, where we spent most of our time, was large and spacious clean and warm. The entire house was very clean and organized and plenty of items to get started with. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes pans and utensils. The host is very kind and texted to make sure we arrived safe and that everything was good at the house. We were not far from anything on the island and everything was easy to get to. We would definitely stay again.
Great home for a family vacation. Lots of space for 3 families. 2 grandparents, son, his wife and 2 children. Daughter, her husband and 7 month old. Very clean. Pool and hot tub were fun!
This was a great house for a multi- generation gathering with ages spanning 7 to 90 years of age with something for everyone! Park with playground, fitness classes and walking path is a block away as is a public library. Two little burrowing owls live a block away and several gopher tortoises are a bike ride away. Great communication with owner made it a smooth stay.
I just stayed for a week with my boyfriend, sister, her fiancé, two friends, and my dad. It was a good sized house with bonus amenities like an outdoor fridge and a wine cooler separate from the main refrigerator. The only downside to the layout for us was no “central” bathroom (all bathrooms are attached to a room/between two rooms). On the other hand, as three adult couples and a parent, having private spaces were enjoyable. There were minor cleanliness issues when we checked in (hair in a bathroom sink/trash can and clothes that did not belong to us left behind in the dryer), but I would definitely book this property for a similar trip again.
We picked this location in part for the easy walk to Mackle Park, and found it to be an easy drive to everything. The house is large and bright, with plenty of room to spread out. The owner was great with responding to our few questions.
We had a great stay here. Joe was very timely with communication and responsive with our questions. This home is at a great location…not far from public lot for beach. Across the street from a great park. Perfect for families. The pool and spa were wonderful. Lots of extras!
We loved our stay! Great location, 5 min to beach, 5-10 min anywhere we wanted to go. The house has been updated nicely but could use a coat of paint. The beach chairs were not great, but a few umbrellas were awesome. It was a great set up for 3 couples, Owner was kind and responsive. would recommend.
The house was spacious and we had plenty of room for two families. 3 bathrooms was especially nice with having 2 teen girls. The pool area was great. Especially the hot tub. Location was perfect. We booked it primarily because it’s right across the street from Mackle park which will love to walk around daily and use its facilities. Would highly recommend Joe’s place! Joe was a great host!
We had a perfect week in Marco Island. The house was exactly what we needed for our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better location so close to the park and the beach. The bedroom layout was particularly accommodating. Joe was very hospitable and communicative. The pool and hot tub were amazing and used frequently! Thank you so much!
Family of 5 with kids ages 13, 10, and 5. Pool and jacuzzi heated was awesome! House was spacious! There is a BIG park right across the street with a huge playground and tons of outdoor activities! Owner communication was great! Can’t recommend this place enough!
Really enjoyed our time here. Joe was responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is clean and everything is in order. Having the park within walking distance is nice. If you have a boat, the dock can accommodate 24' as long as you can competently tie up. 15 min boat ride to Caxambus. Water and power on the dock are functional.
PROS: Convenient location, well equipped kitchen, nice heated pool, lots of high tech equipment, TVs in every room, great wifi, good bathrooms, responsive host
CONS: Could be cleaner, tired stained furniture (I covered the sofa with towels to sit on it), there was a small carpet at the glass sliding doors that was full of glass shards (got one stuck in my foot), the clothes dryer didn't work, the bed in the master was very hard - like concrete. I gathered all the duvets from all the closets and covered the mattress to make it bearable to sleep on.
We had an AMAZING time at the house/Marco Thanksgiving week. Joe was responsive from the beginning all the way through to the end of the stay! Joe noted that he had just finished reno/updating the house and we were the first ones to rent! The house was beautiful, updated, pool and hot tub were perfect. Upon arriving at the house, we were gifted a delicious bottle of wine (nice touch). We had use of the bikes which we utilized the whole week! The location was right next to a nice bike path at Mackle Park. Speaking of location...it was a nice walk/run and short golf cart ride to the beach and also to our favorite areas - Bebe's Ice Cream, Oyster Society, Marco Prime, JW Marriott, Mini Golf, etc!
Thank you, Joe! It was a magical week on Marco with our family and SO many memories were made.

The most disappointing part of the property was the pool area. The chairs are all very broken , torn, moldy. The pool area was very dirty. The pool itself was clean but it took 4 days for the pool to heat up to 86 degrees, this was sooo disappointing, it should have been heated prior to our arrival. When we arrived the hot water was off so cold showers and wifi was off which meant AC thermostat was too, this required several lengthy conversations with Joe, not a great first impression. Many things about the house are poorly maintained , broken sliding door, big gap in front door, cleanliness was disappointing , floors were dirty, a comforter was dirty not just stained and garbage was on the bed side tables in one room. Not sure if Joe sees the property often or it's his cleaning staff that are poor. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all nice, kitchen was nice and well stocked, location is good. Sectional is very stained. Provided toilet paper, soap etc was appreciated. Joe was reachable but the property should have been better prepared. The early check in and late check out were very appreciated.
Our rental was in the perfect location. We have 3 Grandsons that love to play basketball so they went literally across the street to a fully covered basketball court at Mackle Park. There was even a small court for the 9 yr old with 7 ft goal. Mackle Park was exceptional. Very clean with lots to do paved track to walk on, lake to fish, many things to do. Our rental had a beautiful pool and hot tub too so the kids spent equal time there also. We have visited Marco numerous times and wish we could stay longer. Joe was very nice to deal with on several small issues that were trivial but he wanted to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely come back!
The owner was helpful in every situation. We arrived 30 minutes early, after driving from Missouri, and he remotely opened the garage door, which was very much appreciated. The lanai had been damaged in the hurricane , but it was replaced by the time we arrived 5 weeks later. We all enjoyed the Hot Tub, and pool. My son even found a Junonia while out on a Go Cats!! We also went on the Dolphin Explorer, and enjoyed that cruise. We would definitely come back, it felt like home.
The property and house was nice. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Location was close to beaches and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and will definitely be back!

Joe is great to respond quickly. House okay for clean. Pool nice, surrounding pool area needs work.
Joe is very quick to respond and handled entry problem very quickly but did not care for the suggestions we made privately to make his home better. Inside the home was nice and overall a 4/5 stars. The pool and hot tub are 5/5 with all afternoon sun! The surrounding area of the pool is a huge space with lots to offer but needs work and could be much nicer and cleaner. A good power washing, some added lawn chairs and sitting areas would be great because the area is so big! Grill needed a good cleaning which we do at home so it was fine that we did it in order to use it. We did not bother Joe to get someone there because we wanted to use it that evening. The outdoor kitchen area was very nice otherwise and well used. Garage and entry way could be more organized. We stay in many rentals and for the price it needs a few changes.
If you rent this home and any of this concerns you, message Joe with updates and I'm sure he will respond right away.
Marco island is a beautiful place to stay with lots to do. Beach is not far, golf cart is nice but a vehicle works too.
Especially since Marco is becoming less tolerant to them and the carts are as much as a car for the week. Some nice restaurants are just around the corner, two minute drive. Mackle park is right across the street with basketball courts for the older teens, play ground for little ones, and nice walking track even though we walked the neighborhoods. Farmers market was on Wednesday, highly suggest checking it out. Fruit bowls were excellent and well worth the $13.95!
We rented a couple pontoons in Naples and spent one day in Keewahdin beach area which was awesome. One pontoon with slide and one without, each cheaper than the golf cart. Well worth the slide too!
Marco Island is a great place to visit!
We loved staying at Joe’s house! Perfect location near the park, farmer’s market, museum, library, and short drive to beach. The kids enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaking the channel. The hot tub was nice to start and end our days and the outdoor bbq made it convenient to stay in for dinners. Would stay here again.
Comfortable house with everything you need for a week-long vacation
Great property and the location is nice being extremely close to a park/farmer's market. The available paddle boards and kayaks were a great amenity but didn't end up using as we were too busy. House was very clean and great space for a family or small group of adults to stay. Owner was available and responsive. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

The pool, pool area, and hot tub, were the highlights of this home!
We did need to call the owner to turn pool temperature above 81 degrees. He controls the pool temperature from his phone. After my call, the temperature was great!
This home is beautiful, but was in need of a through cleaning. Inside and in the pool area. We would rent it again but would verify the cleanliness before checking into the home.
In the high heat and humidity of the Florida summer, we needed beds, a kitchen and a pool. Joe's home comfortably slept 6 of us with room for more. The pool was perfect, the lanai was screened in so no problems with no-see-ums. The kitchen was well-equipped and we appreciated the poolside mini-fridge. Joe was a great host!
Two families shared this house (family of 4, family of 3) and we had our friends over (they rented the house across the street) and still had PLENTY of space to spare. The house is beautifully decorated. So much beautiful light coming in. We enjoyed cooking our meals while everyone was gathered in the kitchen. The outside grill was definitely put to good use. The pool was perfect (water/temp/size). The mango tree was a major bonus!
The kids enjoyed themselves on the bikes around the area. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella and cart for our beach trips.
Joe, the owner, was always available via phone, text or email, but we did not have any issues enjoying our week stay. He even contacted me after our departure inquiring on an extra bike in the garage (ooops! It was from our friends house across the way).
Our only misfortune is since the house is at the end of a canal, it wasn't a very good fishing spot for our fisherman friend (however, he did catch one sheephead).
We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this beautiful home!
