Please note that this Oregon Coast vacation rental is comprised of the upper level of the larger Agate Beach home, available to rent in its entirety for groups of up to ten guests. The lower level, available separately, is open to groups of four or less.

Watch the surf break rhythmically on the sand of nearby Agate Beach from the upper level of this luxurious Newport vacation rental, just five minutes from the heart of the colorful fishing town. There's room for six of you here, a beautiful space filled with new furnishings, offering not only wonderful views from just about every spot in the home, but proximity to shopping, dining, and all the recreational options available in this popular area!

After a shopping foray in nearby Newport, examine your treasures in the comfort of this spacious and cheery living room. As the sun dips on the horizon, it can get chilly. Click on the gas fireplace and pass the time before dinner with a book, or, bring up the laptop (free WiFi) and find the perfect itinerary for the next day. And make sure you pack some DVDs to watch in case the occasional gray coastal day rolls in. On sunny afternoons, step through the gorgeous French doors out on the covered patio and relax on the comfortable furniture, your face warmed by sun through the skylights.
When you're hungry, you can head into Newport and sit down to a meal at one of dozens of eateries in town, serving (of course!) seafood, but lots of other fare as well. Then again, you don't have to go anywhere with this lovely modern kitchen, complete with all the appliances and assorted utensils, pots, and pans to create a great meal, no matter what time of day. The space is brightly lit with lots of overhead and sunlight through the big windows. There's lots of room to work, and clean up will be easy: just load up the dishwasher. Gather at the luxurious dining set with room for six, a respite in itself with a gorgeous, ocean view with your dessert!

There are three bedrooms on the upper level. The first is just off the sunroom. In this cozy space you'll sleep on a big king bed and enjoy private access to the patio. In the morning, your toes will meet the warmth of the area rug covering the beautiful hardwood floor, and you can freshen up in the attached full bath.
The other two bedrooms are located off the living area. One has a queen bed on a handsome Mission-style frame and sits next to a big window with a panoramic view of nearby Agate Beach. Bed the kids down in the third bedroom where you'll find a twin bunk. There's a second full bathroom - accessible by everyone - in the hallway. Out in the garage is a washer and dryer, so there's no hassle with laundromats!
You could just hang out at this lovely home and still have a great time, barbecuing on the patio, gathering around the shared outdoor fire pit, or walking on the sand, collecting the colorful shells and watching the sea birds. But fun and scenic Newport - just five minutes away - is loaded with fun things to see and do. If you're a golfer, tee up at Agate Beach Golf Course, right across the road. Cross the Yaquina Bay Bridge and visit charming Newport, a working fishing community with plenty of places to shop and enjoy the crustacean that puts this town on the map as the "Dungeness Crab Capital of the World." You'll also close to popular attractions around Newport like two lighthouses, including Yaquina Head. See beautiful starfish and anemones up close in the area's many tidepools, or head out to open waters to fish or witness the big mammals - whales - breach the waves in their native element!
