Vince’s Place was originally owned by a local fisherman and is now owned by his son and wife who have used the cottage as their summer home for the past 20 years. Two of the fisherman’s sons operate very successful deep sea fishing businesses in Rustico while his granddaughter operates a very popular summer eatery in Rustico Harbour ( On the Dock Eatery).
The cottage borders the National Park and is one of the top locations in PEI for lovers of pristine beaches and fresh seafood with arguably the best seafood restaurant in PEI (Blue Mussel Cafe) only steps from the cottage.
Golf courses, kayak and bike rentals, cafes, theatre( watermarktheatre.com) , grocery stores and other amenities are all located within a short walk or drive from the cottage.
Be lulled asleep by sound of the ocean and enjoy beautiful sunrises from the deck or directly on the beach only steps away. The views from the upstairs deck of Rustico Bay and the Ocean are breathtaking. You can watch the local fishermen go about their daily work from the upstairs deck.
The two bedroom cottage has been extensively renovated over the years to suit a more contemporary lifestyle but still contains remnants of yesterday. From the interior of the cottage , there are wonderful views of Rustico Bay and the PEI North Shore.
The cottage is completely furnished and outfitted to suit a relaxing and casual vacation at the beach. The cottage is inspected and licensed by PEI Tourism . The inspector stated in July, 2020, “ beautiful cottage- very clean and tidy. Decor suits location perfectly! “. The cottage is managed by the owners who live nearby and are available to assist.
We, the cottage owners have travelled, extensively and highly value a clean and well furnished accommodation, an unique location and the availability of nearby amenities and activities . We can assure our guests these criteria all apply when renting our cottage.

Cottage by the Sea

This was a lovely cottage in a quaint fishing village. You can tell the owners, Carl and Rhea take great care of their property. They were very helpful with suggestions of places to see and eat in the area. It's location and views were just perfect...It was everything we could have hoped for.

Very special time in a very special place!

This was the perfect location: views in every direction without even leaving the cottage, a national park just steps away with breathtaking views, a variety of trails, a 1 min walk to the beach. A nice long stretch of beach to walk on, heading toward the red cliffs of Cavendish Beach. A wonderful multi-purpose trail leading to Cavendish Duneslands. (Be sure to check out the National Park Listings for Cavendish Beaches and the Dunesland). On the harbor side, we enjoyed a picturesque boardwalk, and the company of more great blue heron's than we've ever seen. The Cottage was sparkling clean, comfortable, beautiful and well- equipped -- allowing us to prepare fabulous meals to take advantage of fresh-caught local seafood. Host, Carl, met us at the property and gave us a very thorough orientation to the cottage, the area, the restaurants, the "don't miss" opportunities, and he was readily available to answer any questions. We had picture perfect weather. While the dates of our visit put us solidly in the shoulder season -- meaning many venues or attractions had closed for the season -- we also felt like we had the area to ourselves. No crowds, friendly locals, and the restaurants that were open (just a short walk across the road) were excellent. We would definitely (and happily) book this property again should our travels bring us back to the lovely Prince Edward Island. Thank you Carl & Rhea for a wonderful experience. -- Dave & Laura

Quaint cottage, idyllic location. Close proximity to beach, walking paths, bike paths & great eateries. Cottage was very clean, well stocked. Look forward to a return visit! 5star!
