About the host

Hosted by Geraldine MacDonald

Host profile image
Your hosts, Geraldine and Onofre, have been 'Islander wanna-bees' since first stepping on the red sands roads of PEI. Setting down roots on the island is a dream come true. Plans for the future include retirement to full-time 'Islander status'; meanwhile, a cottage is the perfect mix of holiday getaway and permanent connection to the island we love.

Why they chose this property

Riverview Drive ticked all the boxes for us as a family: location, location, location. We love the peace, water views, beaches, and rural towns and landscapes, but we also love the proximity to the lovely city of Charlottetown. Dinner, theatre, musical events and 'too many other amenities nearby to list', give this cottage proximity to everything we love about PEI.

What makes this property unique

Character and charm. Privacy yet perfect proximity to North Rustico, Cavendish, Anne's Land, Brackley Beach, Charlottetown, etc. The location and the 'cottage feel'. Did we mention the water views? The glorious sunsets? The serenity? Did we mention there appears to be a family of bald eagles nesting on the property?
