Horrible smell and only superficially clean rotten filter in the coffee maker

During the entire stay we fought a horrible smell that came somewhere out of the canalisation tubes We tried to insulate the door gap but the smell still came out The owner was not interested at all to help spite we could hardly sleep The whole apartment was superficially clean with dirt and dust in the corners in the coffee jar rotten coffee and as well rotten filter paper from last year or so in the coffee machine everything very provisionally the water tab shaking a lot with a ring of dirt round it The towel rack not fixed to the wall where it belongs just placed on the ground permanently slipping and a cause of accidents The owner hiding behind his nick name Henry obviously tried to avoid direct contact understandable in regards to the performance provided When we arrived we had to pick up the key in a hotel there was no manual how to manoeuvre the stove not really service oriented from the very first beginning we were forced to go via the agency to get contact details In summary the owner does not care at the end we just got an automated message threatening us with additional costs if not leaving prior to 10am He pays obviously lump sum for quick and dirty cleaning and never checks on it As well the maintenance status of the flat is poor the window shades hardly work the staircase looks abandoned colour and plaster falling of the walls and very dirty on the floor with heaps of hair dust and dirt we really didn’t feel good and payed more than 100€ per night
