Sadie's Retreat is located direct lakefront on the shores of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix. Our motto: a unique personalized experience for each of our guests.

We are conveniently located within minutes of East Jordan, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Walloon Lake. Only 18 minutes to Boyne Mountain and 40 minutes to Schuss Mountain, 52 minutes to Nubs.

Enjoy our beautiful cozy classy cottage on 50 feet of eastern shores (sunsets) of Lake Charlevoix. The cottage features updated kitchen, bathroom, carpet, furnace and A/C. The spacious living room features TV, dvd player, couches. The kitchen includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, pots/pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, plates, and glassware for 8 people. It has parking for 4 cars, including garage space. Enjoy sitting on our large deck with BBQ and ladderboard! The private dock has 6 feet of water depth at the end and comes with a boat lift that can handle a boat up to 6000lb and a mooring ball. Enjoy evenings at our fire pit watching the stars (wood for fire provided!). All linens, towels, beach towels are provided. Beds for 6 (master bedroom king size bed, loft area 4 twin beds with an option of sleeping 8 with a full sized futon in loft area). We have a two person kayak, all kinds of sun-chairs, water floating rafts, Nintendo Switch and tons of games inside.

Our location on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix is excellent for swimming, boating, fishing, all watersports and winter activities. The area is surrounded by up north beautiful down town areas, nature trails, fishing activities, wineries, and much more!

All boats must be either moored or fit on our 5500 lift. Boats and water toys for rent at our partner source - Summertime Rentals which is directly across the lake from us!!

-If you are bringing your family loving paw children, they are more than welcome. Sadie was our yellow Labrador so we are honored to host yours as well in fact she would be honored. Please be transparent and declare when booking.

The spring, winter, fall are our favorite seasons as the tranquility surrounds with lighter visitation traffic. Perfect seasons for hiking, biking, winery tourism and cider mill farm excursions.

Notes:

There are three cameras on the exterior of the property. This is to keep the property safe when vacant and to ensure proper guest count integrity.

Our home is on a delicate septic waste management system and our maximum occupancy is set strictly recommended by our service providers. It is a 6 head overnight maximum. Any deviations to this maximum must be presented to the host prior to booking for consideration.

Central location to Ellsworth, Bellaire, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Boyne city and Charlevoix. Even Mackinaw and Traverse City is only an hour away!

The water in our lake is perfectly clear with amazing sandy bottom. The natural springs and beautiful Jordan river waters make it some of the freshest water in the state.
