Hilton Head Properties R&R was great to work with; much better than VRBO. The split bedroom floorplan of this Villa was perfect for my wife and me and 2 middle school girls. The pool was heated in April and the beach is right in front of you. Look forward to coming back soon

Elevator NEVER WORKED consistently!

Let me be clear Windsor Place was a really nice condo...it was clean and nicely appointed from the furniture, to the bedrooms, to the nice TV's that were in every room to the amazing view of the pool and ocean from the balcony, BUT to pay what you pay for vacation to Hilton Head Island to have an elevator that never works consistently was a major pain in the butt. Taking groceries, bottled water, coolers, and all of your stuff up four flights of stairs and then back down was not what I would call a vacation. I'm just thankful that we were healthy enough to make it up and down the stairs carrying so much stuff. There were older folks there like my in-lawys who are in their late 60's in another condo as well as families who had health conditions that make climbing stairs really hard on them. My family, nor my mother and father-in-law, nor my brother and sitster in-law will ever stay at Windsor Place again. It was a complete debacle when it came to the elevator. The Windsor Place HOA will probably say that it's the fault of OTIS (the elevator operators) when in reality it is the responsibility of the owners to make sure they have a functioning elevator for their guests. We've been going to Palmetto Dunes for over 10 years and we will choose to stay in a different place....more than likely we'll go back to Villamare or Captain's Walk. If you rent your condo at Windsor Place please know that very likely you will not have an elevator that works.

Windsor place 407

Overall a good stay. I may be a bit particular but for the price I expect better lighting in master bathroom, there was no full length mirror anywhere, cabinets in bathrooms need to be counter height, floors were very dirty & beds in 2nd bedroom were hard & uncomfortable. There is room for 2 double beds instead of a double & twin in that bedroom.
