Stroll to The Village Pavilion from this pond view, second floor 2-bedroom (and loft), 2-bath interior Golf Villa-style condo - approximately 1,664 square feet. In addition to the screened porch and open deck, this resort retreat's main level features a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bath and two bedrooms, including the master suite. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 4 TVs (all flat-screens, at least one capable of streaming Netflix, with the guest's own account)), 3 Blu-rays, small DVD library, gas fireplace, Wifi.

The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.

Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.
The pools are located at the community pavilion. (The pool located on October Glory is for owner use only.)
*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Disappointed

My family and I are no strangers to Bear Trap. We have always had wonderful experiences. Due to our work schedules I booked much later than normal. This unit looked very nice from the pictures. I never doubted it because of our past experiences. Upon arrival regardless of the unit I always wash bedding, wipe counters, and clean the bathrooms. Thank god I brought everything I needed. The floors were disgusting, and stained terribly. Area rugs and carpets… crumbs, stains, and sand. The kitchen table looked like some just ate breakfast. Sticky and crumbs. The bathrooms had hair from the past tenants around the sink and floor. The owner had kept their pantry locked, which in the other units we stayed in was avail for our use. No problems, however, when I went to put our food and groceries on the counter, I had to scrub that as well. Crumbs and sticky everywhere. The kitchen rugs I washed because they were dirty. And the kitchen garbage can didn’t work. I feel really disappointed and this the pictures don’t show you everything. I realize that this is a rental however the units we’ve rented in the past were gorgeous and this is a true ‘rental’.

Many upgrades needed

The photos if the property we stayed in gave a different impression than what we experienced. The bathrooms were very outdated and the master is not accommodating to anyone over 5 ft tall or for bathing a toddler. The pull out couch was ripped open behind the cushions, the carpet under the kitchen table is pulled up in the corner closest to the walkway which everyone tripped on throughout our stay and the backdoor is swelled in one spot making it very difficult to open/close. The space was very nicely sized for our party but expected the furniture and bathrooms to be in better shape based on photos.

Apt. had almost everything you’d have at home

Home was like home; it came equipped with virtually everything I have at home (except there was no hair drier). Even had both drip coffee maker AND small Keurig. They left ample cleaning goods, toiletries, some coffee, tea, sugar. Very comfortable and owners thought of almost anything you need.
